I say the best thing Diggs still has going for him is he still has to play Washington twice and the Eagles, and Giants 1 more time so you know he’s gonna get a few from them

But, yes they have stuff like %targeted, opposing QB rating when targeted, and completion% when targeted, etc. I agree, i think those stats are far more telling about a "lockdown" corner.
Their really has been no True Shutdown Corner since Revis and maybe 2013 Sherman.

The thing is diggs is so good at giving space and letting the qb think his target is open but then closing the gap while the ball is in the air. So by tempting the qb the way he does it’s a possibility he’ll get thrown to all season and get close to the record

I could see it happening, simply on the idea that Diggs likes to play games with the QB. He’ll let them have a few good connections for yards, he’ll let them burn him a few plays, just to make you comfortable. That QB is gonna make the mistake of going for another completion and Diggs is gonna burn them.
It’s like the old trick your old man used to teach you. He’d feed the fish at the lake. Drop a few chunks of bread or old worms. He’d make them feel comfortable around that area and come lurking when he was dumping food for them. It made snatching them a lot easier at the end of the week.
Idk if it’s intentional lol I think he takes a lot of chances and gets beat and that’s the same reason he makes big plays, because he takes chances

Because the game changes. The rate of interceptions was much higher when NTL was playing, but the rate of passing was lower, as was the games.
More impressive to me is when QBs don’t even bother throwing against a DB, dudes like Ramsey, Alexander etc. don’t get half the chances Diggs gets rn. He will soon get the same treatment tho

That is wrong when you play Man to Man coverage. If the opposing team, has their ace receiver, they will try and throw it. He will break the record.

Ints are difficult to get im with skip though he has an outside shot but teams will eventually say anybody but Diggs.
But to skips credit somebody else has to make the plays. The last 10 years of deion sanders career he had one interception season in which he recorded five. Other seasons was 2 to 3 on avg.

Well they still have the Eagles one more time and 4 of his 9 INTs have came from the Eagles so its pretty fair to say he will probably get 1 more in that game then with Washington and the Giants I could see at least one more coming from those 3 games.
