The sad part of this is one of the officers had his back turned and being a cop has to support the others. He didnt know George was gonna die. However, I challenge all of us and people in the media to harness their resources and encourage more people to vote and/or look into working in the criminal justice system to protect and uphold peoples rights. Also, you are correct. The PD terminated the officers is a step in the right direction. However, they have a lot of work ahead of them. Among other things, the PD needs to change their use of force training and revise their policy and procedures. The state and perhaps the feds will take it from here. Let's wait and see who else is charged and what changes will take place with the police department. My condolences to the Floyd family.
