Racism like other forms of prejudice are taught in the home, and then end up trickling from one generation to the next. I spent 2 years in an English school. Kids of 13/14 were spewing vile xenophobia that I didn't understand or comprehend as a Kurdish child. Some grow up and correct their ways. Others grow up, fail in life, marriage etc and they find attacking people who look different to them as their own insecurities coming to the fore.

Vini is provocative towards other teams,referees and fans but doesn't understand that his behaviour is abhorrent as well.
Racist abuse is not the answer by any means but he isn't an angel either.
Just last time i've seen him against Leipzig he grabbed Willi Orban by the throat with both hands and showed him which is a red card offence and he got away with it.

An applaud in the 7th minute isn’t a solution. It’s like putting a plaster on a burn/scald. It’ll only exacerbate the situation and make more racists turn against him because it’s a sympathetic gesture. The whole system is a shambles when it comes to dealing with issues such as these. It’s just not very high on FIFA’s agenda. I love you Vini; and as much as I’d like to see you in the EFL well, it’s got its own relating issues.
