I agree. I suspect, Ten hag was using Ronaldo to deflect the blame from himself and the other players (giving himself more time in the job), by portraying CR7 as a trouble maker and the weakest link. Roy was having none of it and shame on Gary for playing club politics. In his first season back at the club, he scored 24 goals. Unfortunately, the club didn't share his drive and ambition. You don't leave out one of the greatest footballers of all time. As a Untied fan, I'm glad he's enjoying his football at Al Nassr. United is a backward club with a weak manager and full of overpaid mediocre players.

Hes right though. Most fans just enjoy the entertainment. True fans can see the game almost like a manager. We see the formations, the players making runs, who's playing well, who's playing bad. Whether the wings are going wide or cutting inside. There's so much complexity to the game but it is also understandable why those fans think the way they think.
