@@YinzerClips regardless if she was or not there wasn't a thorough investigation done on her complaints as they did not even interview her witnesses so we will never know. And pretty sure there's a federal whistle blower law that protects people from being fired that bring forward any alleged misconduct until a thorough invention is done to prove or disprove the misconduct and they did follow that law either and fired her shortly after before the "internal investigation" was complete. Makes the alleged accused and his company look BAD. If she was toxic and they hadn't anything to hide then why fire her without following the proper channels and red tape to truly clear Seacrest's and the company's name?
I don't know. If she was dating a high powered attorney at the time of her being fired I would assume they would file a wrongful termination lawsuit against E. I doubt that E would pay them off to stay quiet.
Thus mentality is toxic. I'm sick of the believe victims bs. Not EVERY man accused is guilty.

Ryan Seacrest always freaked me out… I never thought he was gay only bc I specifically remember him “making fun” of gay men, transgender and lesbians indirectly on the first few seasons of American Idol. After a few years I remember him hosting shows and he always appeared to be creepy towards the women on the shows. He really is strange. I just think a lot of times production edits out his quirks. American idol also had a cohost with Ryan in the first season and this guy called out American idol for mistreating the contestants and the fact that Ryan never spoke out about it too told me all I needed to know about his character.

It’s just weird how there’s like so much double standard in the society depending on somebody’s popularity it just seems like certain people get away with stuff and you know since other peoples said that they seen what happened you would think that Ryan Seacrest would deal with the consequences but it just seems like he’s still prospering from it. They were incredibly exploitative to the point that the girls got almost nothing until they were able to re-negotiate after working for several years. Apparently some of the girls talked to a big Hollywood contract lawyer while they were re-negotiating and the lawyer said that the contracts were some of the worst he'd ever seen. It's really crazy to me that you never hear any talk about that anymore, especially when Camila Cabello became so famous.

It’s very sad and concerning that as long as you have money, fame and a team of really great lawyers you can get away with anything. You can even make it look like the victim is the bad guy.
Looking back on TV in the decades before the recent me too backlash and how we're more aware of women being objectified in general, I keep cringing when I rewatch certain shows and I've noticed some older male hosts haven't changed their shtick and still try to be funny by either borderline harassing or putting down women's looks. I think it's similar in the US and Europe, there's a dance competition show I watch and I was extremely put off by the older male host creeping on a female celebrity guest who wore a short skirt, I'm not surprised these men would act entitled to women's bodies behind the scenes.
