As we prepare for the bittersweet end of the Skywalker saga, it’s an emotional moment for fans. And yet, in the last days before the final chapter debuts with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, a feeling of hope permeates the final trailer for the film. The Resistance is resilient and even in the darkest of times, faith in not only the Force, but in good people coming together to fight evil in the galaxy could win the day. Or it could be their undoing, if you listen to what sounds like the haunting voice of the Emperor.
The Rise of Skywalker picks up one year after the events of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Kylo Ren and Rey are preparing to face off in their final battle against one another, as other members of the Resistance, including Poe Dameron, Finn, and BB-8 fight for the universe’s future. The Rise of Skywalker will also see the return of more classic characters, including Ian McDiarmid’s Palpatine (whose iconic laugh was heard at the end of the first trailer) and Billy Dee Williams’ Lando Calrissian.

If you are a true Star Wars lover then you will it mid that this will be the last I want to say episode 6 was truly and honestly the book and to the entire Saga but these three movies may not be the best but they do have their moments I only saw this new Trilogy for the sake of Han Luke and Leia if they were not in this new Trilogy then I wouldn't have even paid any attention to these chapters but if it's Mark Harrison and Carrie and of course C-3PO and R 2 d 2 I'm there for them
I managed to speak with one of the alien costume actors, and he said there are currently 2 sagas being made, both by different people, one by the same guy who directed Game of Thrones. Although that was in like August/October, so I could be wrong.
The scene where the Jedi voices were talking to Rey would’ve been better if all the Jedi actually came on screen as ghosts like Luke

I am interested to see Episode 9, and fans should not judge the film until they actually seen it. I am optimistic that the third trilogy finale will not let down the fans even after the controversial Last Jedi from Episode 8. I hope this movie did what Return of the Jedi and Revenge of the Sith did for the past 2 trilogies which was to end the trilogies in a good way. I hope the tradition will continue as it has been for 4 decades now and new generation of Star Wars fans.

I can’t stand the scene where c3po says “I’m taking a last look at my friends”. It doesn’t feel genuine since we’ve barely seen 3po spend any time with any of these new characters
Not to mention he's a flippin' robot and has NEVER called people his friends. The closest I can remember chronologically is being worried over 'Master Luke' and HIS friends. Plus...then there's the too many subplots and not streamlining the overarching story and there's no emotional depth to these characters.

Way back when, I thought there was a novel somewhere that stated that R2D2 & C3PO out lasted everyone and was just telling a story on how the Stars Saga went. But I suppose even that is being re-written as well. Those robots were the only continuity in the Stars Saga and made a lot of cash for them over the years. Kinda crazy to knock them off. But I suppose in these new type of movies, always some major actor(s) gotta die huh?
