The saddest thing of starwars for me is c3po and r2d2 because they were there for all the trilogies and they are the only people who remember Anakin when he was good and young....

@@antonpersson1869 r2d2 restores all of it data cant be erased. Only overwritten so i feel r2 was also able to restore his prequel memorys too but that parts just headcanon

They should make a short episode of luke looking thru R2 & 3POs memories,seeing what his father was like,seeing padme,their marriage & different adventures,he would be able to see the real,brave,powerful, loyal anakin that he could be proud of
C3PO's memory was wiped at the end of episode 3 / before Luke got him
@@rynevories3229 thankfully when R2 restored his memory, he restored everything, including before the mindwipe. The story teller remembers the full story again ^_^
I always said C3PO's true friends are Anakin, Padme and Obi-Wan, not Luke or Leia or Han, especially not Poe or Finn or Rey

This actually broke my heart. The part with "he's a protocol droid!" "He's perfect." brought me to tears. I don't know if many people understand how deep and sentimental droids in this series can be, but C-3PO always stood out to me, and he's one of my favorite characters in the entire series. I honestly get surprised whenever someone says they don't really like him/he doesn't have a personality.
When he had his memory erased, I started crying. I'm just glad R2 was able to recover them.💗
This is so beautiful. I always loved how Padme treated him with such respect.
There was supposed to be a deleted scene from Attack of the Clones where Padmé finishes assembling Threepio, by putting on his gold chassis (at the Lars Homestead) while Anakin searches for his Mom. It's like Threepio is part of the Skywalker family too.

Now this is how the scene should have looked like. They could have TRoS far more emotional and stronger en specially longer than it was. What we got is just a entertaining film without depht or emotions.

He was supposed to keep the Legend alive throughout the galaxy! How could they wipe him out? The last tree movies simply do not exist for me.
Though. As I said above. Bail organa got captain antilles to wipe his memory at the end of revenge of the sith. So his first memories would have been of alderaan and baby Leia. So technically his memories are from 18 years before the battle of yavin. So, from a memory stand point, he's as old as the twins
I was gonna say, It's cool and all until you realize they had his mind wiped at the end of ROTS, but then I noticed the line in the description that says "C-3PO remembers everything that was wiped from his memory" and I love it more than when I decided to click it
C3PO and R2D2 were the characters in all the films, they have gone thru all this. Emotional.

If there is one robot that could cry an oil tear of sorts, it'd definitely be 3P0 for sure because of the musical score and the flashbacks with said musical score
You know what. I’m gonna say it, C-3P0 is the strongest being in the universe
3PO and R2 are one of most long lived characters in this series. Despite both of them being robots, they have emotions and feelings and when you understand that technically they both was participates of such events as Clone Wars, Galactic Empire Reign and such, while not changing too radical the while time, makes you understand what it means to be immortal watcher.
Well I miss old Star Wars movies... That's really sad... C3PO ❤️

This is sad. It’s beautiful yet depressing at the same time. It makes me think of all the family and friends I’ve already lost to death in my short 43 years of life. Memories that will be lost in space and time after I pass on. I need a beer

@@mramirez2667 technically it did go somewhere. Seeing as de dercypted the sith language from the dagger leading them in the direction to where palps is hiding out. That a significant plot point to be fair. As I said above. His mind got wiped at the end of revenge of the sith. So he'd have no memory of the prequel/clone war era
Big P Yeah i get you but I’m saying there was no point in takin away C3PO’s memories if he’s just gonna obtain them again. They make the moment seem so emotional for no reason basically. Only to screw around with the audience and be like “haha you thought he was gone for good”
@@mramirez2667 you're right mate. I couldn't agree more. But do you not appreciate it as that? Film makers: lets fuck with people's heads a bit by taking them down one route of seemingly inevitability for a beloved star wars legend, on an integral plot point and more hands on for a character to be of more use, who, let's be honest, besides the ewoks and a bit of translation, pretty much just gets in the way really. As loved as he is. (Though personally, I think his one liners are some of the best in the whole saga. Easily the funniest in rise and awakens) then switch it back! Boom! Got ya! Do you not like the fact they toyed with us a little bit? Playing around with audience emotions ontop of everything else? Or do you just prefer the run of the mill storytelling where you know exactly every outcome of every sub plot before it runs its course because it fits your model of what star wars should be and any deviation is a let down to you and every star wars fan out there? I mean. From a characters perspective, if I was 3peeo in those circumstances. I would definitely get r2 to back up my shit. Especially after the last time I got wiped. You know r2 what have been teasing about what antilles did for the last nearly 55 years! So, from a character arc it fits. From an emotional point it added a bit more flavour and summat nice after Leia dying and chewies reaction when he finds out. His howling devastation is heart breaking. Another buddy lost. All alone now besides lando.So why not give us a bone after all that and have his memory from before that mission be restored? Good move, I thought.

some people say that Starwars is Lukes story some say its akakins but the truth is that is C3PO has been in every single movie
3po has seen everything, Anakin as a brave Jedi knight and married then turning to the Dark side, Luke becoming a Jedi and the fall of the empire, then the rise and fall of the first order

I shad a tear man…that was emotional.
This made me feel a lot, surprisingly. But it made me realize: We are C-3P0. We were there for all of the major events, but barely had a major impact, except our very existence ties the events together. Here's a theory: What if Star Wars is just a recounting of history told by a very old C-3P0, perhaps centuries after the stories we've seen so far, as his programming slowly fails before he "dies"?
True 😭 i actually heard it is the way you say; the entire franchise is a story told by C-3PO and R2-D2 because they saw and survived everything. Which makes them secretly the main characters. I hope they won't lose eachother as friends...

In a lego spinoff (tales droids) r2 restored c3po memory from ep 1 to 3 at final of ep 6 so this flashbacks make sense to me

Was I the only one who always felt for how this AI poor thing actually saw and felt everything (although robots cannot feel, they can construct how they're supposed to feel).
