just my personal opinion about what the mv means, i feel like taeyeon as a waitress is just like her as an idol, always having to meet people's expectations and living up to their standards they have of her. she finds it easy at first since after all, its her dream to be a singer. but after some time the employer started lashing out on her, and this depicts that she had gained haters, and she lost her carefree life that she used to have in the past, which are the scenes of her running about in the fields. then the butterfly in the mv, that depicts her family, friends & snsd. these people encourage and constantly tell her to ignore these haters and motivate her to go on stronger. that's when she realized, hater's opinions don't matter anymore and haters shouldn't stop her from living her carefree life. so in the mv, she quits on her job (like quitting on her haters) and she goes off to find her carefree self again, and she did. thats when in the mv, her carefree self in the past meets her present.

This is still the best solo debut for me. The standard, a grand solo debut. Because the song and the concept is so timeless that we could still listen to it from time to time, and it still feels modern. Not to mention that Taeyeon is also the one that make this sounds fantastic. When i heard that Wendy is preparing for her solo debut, i kinda want her to have a debut like Taeyeon I because of how amazing this is, and it also suits Wendy too.

I agree. I think Taeyeon has always struggled with depression, even when she was with GG. I could see she wasn't happy. I wish her well, and it's nothing to be ashamed about.I think it has something to do with just where she is in her life, and when I hit 30 I had a sort of crisis, or funk... it happens to the best of us, where you really start to evaluate your life.
Maybe singing is the only way she can heal. It's a form of therapy that's why she does it often

If I was eating, I was listening to it. I remember trying so hard to find this song but I couldn’t quite remember what the name was, so eventually I gave up. I am now 14, and I’ve finally found it. This song helped me relive all my greatest memories, and I will forever be grateful for that. This song is, and will remain as my comfort song.

This was literally amazing. Literally the video was so good. It just had a very good nostalgic feel to it. Literally this is not Taeyeon of Girls Generation but Just Kim Taeyeon. Like the "girly kid leader" that she's supposed to have for SNSD does not show at all. But who we see in this video is a completely different person and I don't mean that in a bad way. Her solo is perfect and has a more mature sound. Also watching the MV, what kept running through my mind is that I don't consider this K-Pop. The video wasn't your typical K-pop. The music wasn't your typical K-pop. Honestly nothing about this video scream K-pop. Yes she's singing in Korean but it still didn't come off as K-pop. But that's just me. I'm so proud of her. This was well deserved and long overdue.
