I think he has chemistries with all the ladies, the only difference with Jihyo is, he is the most comfortable with her. Most probably because they have spent 11 years working together, or he already view her as his younger sister/family, but besides that they also have similar personality/principles. So Jongkook do treat all the ladies in heart fluttering way, and he seems to be the most comfortable with Jihyo.

@@marnie6511 i admit jihyo is comfortable with jongkook since ep 1 plus they also met in family outing before. All the single guys in rm obviously have crushes on jihyo in the beginning. It was just Gary pushed himself too hard on jihyo, that mc couple was created. But you can see jihyo was clearly uncomfortable with the loveline in the beginning. She was even more comfortable with joongki or kwangsoo, but joongki's fans were rabid, she distanced herself. Jihyo was burdened with Gary's flirts in the beginning, that's why she was awkward with him compared to other rm guys. If Gary didnt advanced himself so fast to jihyo in early rm, i'm sure one of the other guys will make their own move.

On other shows, JH and some of the members briefly allude how they had little choice with some of these character choices in the early RM era. I think that even contributed to why Gary left suddenly… Its believable how ruthless things probably were before, esp with how the earlier production team were willing to fie/ cut JK and JH and wanted to replace them with Kang Ho Dong. But now that RM has been running for a long time, its Bo Pil PD who’s “grown up with them”, and JK and JH have been friends for a long time, they can make “fun” of the loveline in their own way. Regardless I hope RM team and members are all doing well and form a healthy, successful show for years to come.

Since eps.3 or earlier episode... kinda forgot the episode but it is when Nickhun and Hara become the guests. Jihyo first time appear as guest too and YJS actully push JKJH first. But turned out everyone adores her. JH pair with all of them after she join the cast line up. Tbf tho JK always get loveline part in past variety shows too. But its just so amazing that YJS push it the first time JH came as guest star on RM.
