Yes I agree they should add new members, but it's been very difficult for new female members unless they're professional comedians. So far most female guests aren't funny (unfortunately Somin included). I can only think of Jessi as the funniest female guest that is non-comedian.

@@quiksilver0000 IMO being funny is not ultimately necessary, but being witty does. Or let's just say a "sense of variety" where you know what to say or what to do at the right time and not purposely "steal" others airtime so that they can shine together and support each other. Of course if you also had that "funny" element, it would boost your popularity while also fancied by other members or even RM crews since it might also boost RM rating score.
JSM and SJH are actually not known for being funny, but they did have a bit of sense of variety and good chemistry with other member. But then, i had to agree with you that as time goes by, JSM and SJH "quality" are indeed downgraded little by little.
As for Jessi, she is indeed funny as she often being the scene stealer in every episodes she appeared. But IMO she kinda lack the sense of variety, as she also sometimes (not always) interrupting when people are talking or explain something important which is kinda shown to have a lack of manner in a way. In the end she did funny af, i can admit that. But i don't know to me if she were to become the next new member it would not as good as SJH&JSM in term of a good long lasting chemistry, and as she often being the center of attention in every episodes it would also disrupt others performance or airtime (even for male members) which could lead to them being fired.
If i had to give a suggestion, a good balanced new members (female) in recent episodes would be someone like Lee da hee, Kang han na, and Shin ye eun.

@@quiksilver0000 I think tastes differ... Somin makes me laugh! So does Jihyo though very occasionally of course. Jessi is honestly not funny to me, and incredibly boring - if I had to use a Western comparison, a very tasteless, obvious "American" sense of humour that mostly consists of shouting, versus for example British humour. I'd prefer someone actually witty

I don't think Jessi even qualifies as slapstick though, she mostly just walks around yelling the same things over and over again, playing the same character. It's genuinely only interesting for about 5 minutes

It will still up to them and their company. I think Kwangsoo don't want to be associate w/ being a past rm member for now since he is establishing his image as an actor and not a comedian as people see him when he was still a member.
