i love jin young for saying she didn't need her husband to work for her and that she could make her own money, thank you very much. hjy has struggled a lot in her life to reach where she is now and it is great to see a successful and confident woman who questions those stereotypes.

It was rude to say that to her and she was right to put him in his place, but it is true that women are more interested in a partner with status and money while men are more interested in physical beauty. To clarify further, the comment and JY's comeback would have been just as appropriate in 1930s America, even if JY didn't have a job and really did rely on a husband's income. The comment was mainly rude, not really sexist.

I think something is going on.... It seems like introducing your girlfriend/wife to your close friend. In entire video, KJK said a few times "You look like a woman", "You look like a newlywed when you're at home". Sun young is not there while she normally always accompany Hong Jin Young. Maybe they wanted all focus for Hong Jin Young. Moreover, the way they both interact and KJK move in that house seems quite natural. Last but not the least, at the very beginning when they enter home KJK after saying to HJY "You look like a newlywed" he teases " I've heard, you've registered your marriage, where is your groom?"
