It's actually based on a novel called Dage/Elder Brother written by popular writer Priest. That's why the story is so good. She's also written Guardian which was adapted into a Chinese drama back in 2018. And has also written Tian Ya Ke(live action Word of Honor) and Legend of Fei, whose live action has Wang Yibo.

@@ILI_Y thanks I'll give it a try, i don't have a specific type but i like a series where i can feel something, where they just not heavily rely on NC scene, i like the old BL style when you can feel their emotions with them, it's really hard to find these days
I just.. I don't know how many I have seen now where these things happen as if these things happen all the time; 1. One falls, the other one catches or they both fall and land on one another. 2. It rains, one gets sick, as if you will ALWAYS get sick if you are in the rain, the other one takes care of the sick one. Also, the sick one is all good the morning after having a high fever. 3. The kiss is just lips pressed against each other for so long it's weird. I can't stop myself from saying: "you also get paid to kiss, seriously, do better, please" 😫 There's probably more I can't think of right now. It's so predictable. I mean, I love watching the series, but come on, please 😫😅
