얼마나 아프냐면 일단 어디 부딪히면 뇌 정지 오면서 으끄끆... 소리 절로나옴
이제 심해지면 내성 발톱 부분 절단 수술 들어가는데 마취 넣는것도 아프고 이후 절단 할때는 덜아프긴함 대신 절단 하는 과정동안 감각은 꽤 느껴짐 실시간으로 보기 거북할정도 좀 깊게 들어갔으면 뿌리부분을 긁는데 소리가 미침
진짜 고통은 수술 이후인데 한동안 물들어가면 안되서 샤워도 못함 회복이 더뎌지면 지옥시작
발톱과 살 사이에 가시가 계속 박혀있는 느낌이라 생각하시면 됩니다 ㅋㅋ

Oh yeah...been there. Got mine after wearing shoes half a size too small for too long. I didn't think it made a difference until the ingrown happened.
Here's a tip! If it gets infected, soak your foot in Epsom Salt water. It'll help draw the pus out and ease the pain.

For anyone interested... my personal experience is that ingrown toenails seem to happen when the nail "guide", as I call it, gets messed with. It's a straight piece of skin-nail (somewhat inbetween) that runs on the side of your nail. If you mess with that or damage it in any way your nail doesn't know where to grow anymore and it starts growing into the side of your toe. The best thing to do is push your skin on the side of your toe down as far as possible constantly while putting the nail guide back where it's supposed to go. Once it goes too far and the skin starts really growing over your toenail you really just need a surgical correction.
I do had sometime ingrown nail on toes mostly but I didn't had surgical, I called my nailed appointment to get it off n luckily is out but tbh it painful

I had some kind of ingrown toenails condition where I had to have that part of the skin removed and “frozen off” so it would never grow back.

faced all these, having 2 infected ingrown toe nails, 1 on each big toe. had them for a long while before goin to the DR. remembering how painful the procedure was i wish i was knocked out instead of just numbing. Which took the pain from like 100% down to 80% lol

As someone who still has an ingrown nail for 5 years, the first year with my ingrown hurted so much with just a light touch and I relate so much with the video. But at this point it's not as painful as before and I can comfortably wear shoes without having to cry from the pain every time I accidentally hit it

My mother and i are planning to schedule an appointment for my ingrown. This stuff gets really painful, especially since every single time it started leaking pus i had to get bits of it removed via manicurists without anesthesia. After like 10 or so manicurist x toenail sessions, the one after that really effed me up to the point where i started almost crying from the pain. So i decided i couldn't take it anymore and told my mom to just get this over with and take me to a foot doctor or sumn

a pro tip . go to a foot doctor and ask for anesthesia and the whole nail to be removed ,(my doctor told me that it will be removed as many times as necessary until it is fixed )

Yooooo same, I usually try to stop them from ingrowing by scrubbing them off with fingers even if they had the slight tendency to do so. But I forget sometimes and there you go, just like the animation. It’s so painfully annoying.

as someone who used to have 2 ingrown toenails for about a year and a half cus we simply couldn't afford to get it fixed. I agree with this on a subatomic level. got them removed twice but when I asked to do a permanent removal they said it won't come back. it did twice. when it was finally down I had to re learn how to walk properly pain free and not be scared of breathing near them which usually caused the worst pain in the milkyway galaxy
It happened to me 4 years ago and treated after 1 year and it happened to me again 3 years after PAIN........

I had an ingrown toenail and didn't realize until a year later and learned to live with it and I basically did surgery on myself (cause I'm broke) which was extremely, unexplainable, unbearably painful

Facts. I have osteochondroma in my right foot, so the bone that grows out of my T1 made it 10x worse since it grows into and through the toenail bed, pushing my toenail to the right side.
