Since when was there not enough soap in prison? I've been there, and one thing there was definitely an abundance of was self care amenities. Mainly because prisoners work in factories that make soap and hygiene products, which they then have to buy using extremely small allowance they get each month. They get some of that stuff free, but it's terrible quality(soap is soap, it works) and they would rather buy better the quality.

They are intentionally designed to be as difficult to access as possible and are given very little advertisement so the people who need that type of help often dont even know its available or that they qualify.

Here's a ridiculous postscript to my original comment: since I was disabled by the stroke I had, I qualify for government healthcare, but just last month, I got a letter in the mail telling me that I have to provide proof of my citizenship to continue my healthcare coverage.
Again, I'm an *enrolled member of a **_federally recognized_** Native Tribe_* Pfft! If I'm not an American citizen in the most ancient and profound sense, who is?
