I’m Steve’s wife 🤫! I remember many years ago waaay back in the mid 80s, I was attending girls camp for our church up in northern Arizona. A few of us girls found a horned toad and put it in the foot of another girls sleeping bag as a prank. Baawahaha you could hear her scream off of every canyon wall up there! My best friend and I were notorious for pranks at camp, we attended every year between 12yrs old and 18 yrs old. I went up as a cabin mom a few times years last, taught the girls a few tricks!

They have shedding issues because humidity is too low, these arent desert species they come from coastal sage scrub similar to the habitat in coastal southern california. they also need rough woody branches to rub against to remove shed. Give them a humidity dome and rough branches and they should have fewer shed issues.

@@_herbtaster a damp cloth is extremely gentle, that’s the whole point of a damp cloth. It’s more gentle than pulling hard with tweezers. And you can cut your fingernails.
