Good point about how Trump probably should _want_ to pay quickly, since interest is accruing. I think the reason he isn't is because he simply intends not to pay. And he believes he can keep the appeal process going indefinitely, and he is probably counting on his right-wing Supreme Court ultimately letting him off the hook.

As a non citizen of the United States, at no time have I been interested in internal American politics until now. However with the possibility of Donald Trump winning the Presidency my life and security and those around the world is highly likely to be effected, and yet I feel powerless. I can only hope the values the American people say they hold so dearly is suitably reflected at the ballot box. But it must be more than just a win for Biden, it must be so comprehensive in both houses to be able to change and oust the far right in your judicial system as well. The momentum for the American citizens and world freedom only begins after November.
