Honestly the impact SNSD has on the kpop world is untouchable they really paved the road for all female idols. Not only because of their talent but because has a group they went through so much they are truly the definition of being best friends with your band mates and no other girl group will compare!

Jessica was ready to launch her fashion career & SM supported it. They were even allowing her to continue with SNSD. The members were ok with it too...but some of their parents weren't. Idol's parents apparently have a large influence on group activities & solo careers as well, so they complained about it. Divine was written as Jessica's hiatus song. She was gonna take time off while her company launched, but then she backed out of that shortly before the song released. The members weren't happy with Jessica being all wishy-washy, so they basically "forced" her out. The meet-&-greet Jessica says she was no longer able to attend happened because some of the members told her that if she attended it, they wouldn't show up. They weren't trying to kick her out, they just wanted her to make a decisive decision, & her waffling between fashion & music was really getting to them, so they forced her to make a decision. 2:07 for those who are new, Yoona was participating in a variety show and she wasn't supposed to eat. But she was very hungry. The girls started covering the camera and distracting the staff so that Yoona could run behind and eat a little bit. They were the ones who started everything. If it wasn’t for them we would have all the groups we adore now, twice, nct, etc. Like sooyoung said, GG was like their hometown. They’ve been with eachother since elementary. They stayed together for 10 years 😌.And they never thought of disbanding too. They don’t even call themselves best friends. They call eachother and treat eachother like sisters. I can’t believe I’ve been stabbing them since I was 5. Randomly scrolling on yt and seeing “ the boys “ and was like damn this shit is good. Now 8 years later I am now 13 I’ve never felt so proud of myself being able to follow them on their journey. 2010 I heard about K-pop for the first time, I listened to their music but it never crossed my heart. Then 1 day on August my sister who loves yonghwa cnblue shows me a video of the girl she hate bcz she married to yonghwa. When I look at that video (gee) I saw yoona winked n it capture my heart, and when I listen to it, it crossed my heart for the first time I fall in love with 9 girl. 2014 it really break my heart bcz I just knew this 9 angel n now it becomes 8. I wish I knew them more earlier so I can get enough of the 9, my heart can't take it. But now I realized that no matter how many times or how long I know them, it never is enough. The word 'enough' can't exist when it comes to them, I want more.. As time flies there is a new group but none of them cross my heart like snsd did. It's like a magic that only happens once. I never care about K-pop but I care about snsd. The only group that I know their whole member, their faces n their names. I guess I can only fall in love once n since I only have one heart I can't help but to love them till the end.

I started supporting them since I was in elementary. I am now in college. My love for them hasnt changed. I’m still that gradeschooler jumping in joy whenever K see them. This made me tear up. Another note when rumours were out saying Jessica left snsd it was a after my birthday. I cried so hard since she was my bias at the time (I love all the girls, im a devoted sone). Its been so long since then, why couldnt it be a nice departure from the group like how tiffany, sooyoung and seohyun left sm and can still meet up with the girls or go to the company. Issues had happened that made some things awkward between the girls like i believe jessica may be in contact with some of them. But not being able to do so in public its so sad. Because in my head, you cant easily break a friendship of like more than 10 years because they had build a bond since so long ago. Anyway i could rant on this forever but once again love this video so much.
Tiffany, Seohyun, and Sooyoung are still under label SNSD even if they shifted agencies. SM Ent gave them that label on their 10th year anniv just like how they did with SuJu on their 10th year anniv. These 3 ladies can still make projects with SNSD in the future.

I've been a fan since 2009, then I suddenly stopped being into kpop so much in 2011 but I'm glad I've found my way home again, my home, SNSD. I never regretted watching the first SNSD MV I saw in KRplus, GEE. I never regret stanning this beautiful souls. This video just proves what is and who is the KOREAN NATION'S GIRL GROUP. Their hardship and hardwork in everything they do.. when they were bashed before and just after their debut, even experienced a black ocean, they still didn't give up showing their best for their fans. Even if boy groups are more common, they still conquered Korea and later the World with their wit, charms and talents, showing what girls can also show, giving way to girl groups, giving way to the rise of GIRLS' GENERATION just like their name. And the tragic 093014, when a member left not so beautifully. Yet, they stayed strong even if people bashed them for non-factual rumors of them kicking their own member, even if their own fans doubt them. That's why I can never really understand how people can hate these wonderful human beings. I'm just glad they withstood all those problems and challenges TOGETHER for the last 10 years. Staying true to our chant.. right now, SNSD, in the future SNSD, forever SNSD. And we SONEs will always be here for them now, always and forever.
Lol. Same here. I got into K-Pop and GG in 2009 through, of all things, my like for J-Rock and Visual Kei at the time. I also more or less fell out K-Pop until 2014 when I was brought back into it and I have never forgotten the love and camaraderie that is SNSD.

I may not be their fan from the very start because I knew then year 2011 or 2012 by hearing their "The Boys" and the only lyrics i understand that time were "we bring the boys out" and "girls's generation can make you feel the heat" and everything was korean for me. It made me want to know more about them. I am still a kid that time about 11 yrs old, i still dont know how to search them up on the net. But I am sure that SNSD was the first ever kpop group that I stan right before this word was formed. Yoona was my ultimate bias. To catch up to them year 2014 I started to know about them by searching on net but still dont have my own phone to have their music to be listened to. As time goes by I started to watch videos from youtube about them. I first watched the school of rocks, it made me cry because they have been doubted by the producers of that program. Then as I watch further, i found the black ocean. It made me realized that they as 9 young ladies struggled to fight their dream in ocean of kpop boy groups which was patronized by everyone. That time and even now i think in south korea, men still overpowers women, but as a Filipino fan, girl groups matters to me than boy groups. I promised to myself that no matter how many new girl groups that I'll stan, i won't forget the original title holder of "Nation's girl group", So Nyu Shi Dae or Girls' Generation, my first ever girl group love.

Honestly the impact SNSD has on the kpop world is untouchable they really paved the road for all female idols. Jessica was ready to launch her fashion career & SM supported it. They were even allowing her to continue with SNSD. The members were ok with it too...but some of their parents weren't. Idol's parents apparently have a large influence on group activities & solo careers as well, so they complained about it.
Divine was written as Jessica's hiatus song. She was gonna take time off while her company launched, but then she backed out of that shortly before the song released. The members weren't happy with Jessica being all wishy-washy, so they basically "forced" her out.
The meet-&-greet Jessica says she was no longer able to attend happened because some of the members told her that if she attended it, they wouldn't show up.
They weren't trying to kick her out, they just wanted her to make a decisive decision, & her waffling between fashion & music was really getting to them, so they forced her to make a decision. Was it in the best way it could've gone, no.

2:07 for those who are new, Yoona was participating in a variety show and she wasn't supposed to eat. But she was very hungry. They were the ones who started everything. If it wasn’t for them we would have all the groups we adore now, twice, nct, etc. Like sooyoung said, GG was like their hometown. They’ve been with eachother since elementary. They stayed together for 10 years 😌.And they never thought of disbanding too. They don’t even call themselves best friends. They call eachother and treat eachother like sisters. I can’t believe I’ve been stabbing them since I was 5. Randomly scrolling on yt and seeing “ the boys “ and was like damn this shit is good. Now 8 years later I am now 13 I’ve never felt so proud of myself being able to follow them on their journey. 2010 I heard about K-pop for the first time, I listened to their music but it never crossed my heart.
Then 1 day on August my sister who loves yonghwa cnblue shows me a video of the girl she hate bcz she married to yonghwa. When I look at that video (gee) I saw yoona winked n it capture my heart, and when I listen to it, it crossed my heart for the first time I fall in love with 9 girl.
2014 it really break my heart bcz I just knew this 9 angel n now it becomes 8. I wish I knew them more earlier so I can get enough of the 9, my heart can't take it.
But now I realized that no matter how many times or how long I know them, it never is enough. The word 'enough' can't exist when it comes to them, I want more..
As time flies there is a new group but none of them cross my heart like snsd did. It's like a magic that only happens once. I never care about K-pop but I care about snsd. The only group that I know their whole member, their faces n their names. I guess I can only fall in love once n since I only have one heart I can't help but to love them till the end.

This made me tear up. Another note when rumours were out saying Jessica left snsd it was a after my birthday. I cried so hard since she was my bias at the time (I love all the girls, im a devoted sone). Its been so long since then, why couldnt it be a nice departure from the group like how tiffany, sooyoung and seohyun left sm and can still meet up with the girls or go to the company. Issues had happened that made some things awkward between the girls like i believe jessica may be in contact with some of them. But not being able to do so in public its so sad. Because in my head, you cant easily break a friendship of like more than 10 years because they had build a bond since so long ago. Anyway i could rant on this forever but once again love this video so much.
Tiffany, Seohyun, and Sooyoung are still under label SNSD even if they shifted agencies. SM Ent gave them that label on their 10th year anniv just like how they did with SuJu on their 10th year anniv. These 3 ladies can still make projects with SNSD in the future.

I've been a fan since 2009, then I suddenly stopped being into kpop so much in 2011 but I'm glad I've found my way home again, my home, SNSD. I never regretted watching the first SNSD MV I saw in KRplus, GEE. I never regret stanning this beautiful souls. This video just proves what is and who is the KOREAN NATION'S GIRL GROUP. Their hardship and hardwork in everything they do.. when they were bashed before and just after their debut, even experienced a black ocean, they still didn't give up showing their best for their fans. Even if boy groups are more common, they still conquered Korea and later the World with their wit, charms and talents, showing what girls can also show, giving way to girl groups, giving way to the rise of GIRLS' GENERATION just like their name. And the tragic 093014, when a member left not so beautifully. Yet, they stayed strong even if people bashed them for non-factual rumors of them kicking their own member, even if their own fans doubt them. That's why I can never really understand how people can hate these wonderful human beings. I'm just glad they withstood all those problems and challenges TOGETHER for the last 10 years. Staying true to our chant.. right now, SNSD, in the future SNSD, forever SNSD. And we SONEs will always be here for them now, always and forever.
Lol. Same here. I got into K-Pop and GG in 2009 through, of all things, my like for J-Rock and Visual Kei at the time. I also more or less fell out K-Pop until 2014 when I was brought back into it and I have never forgotten the love and camaraderie that is SNSD.

I may not be their fan from the very start because I knew then year 2011 or 2012 by hearing their "The Boys" and the only lyrics i understand that time were "we bring the boys out" and "girls's generation can make you feel the heat" and everything was korean for me. It made me want to know more about them. I am still a kid that time about 11 yrs old, i still dont know how to search them up on the net. But I am sure that SNSD was the first ever kpop group that I stan right before this word was formed. Yoona was my ultimate bias. To catch up to them year 2014 I started to know about them by searching on net but still dont have my own phone to have their music to be listened to. As time goes by I started to watch videos from youtube about them. I first watched the school of rocks, it made me cry because they have been doubted by the producers of that program. Then as I watch further, i found the black ocean. It made me realized that they as 9 young ladies struggled to fight their dream in ocean of kpop boy groups which was patronized by everyone. That time and even now i think in south korea, men still overpowers women, but as a Filipino fan, girl groups matters to me than boy groups. I promised to myself that no matter how many new girl groups that I'll stan, i won't forget the original title holder of "Nation's girl group", So Nyu Shi Dae or Girls' Generation, my first ever girl group love.
