Businesses across the central Chinese city of Wuhan are gradually resuming operations after the lifting of a lockdown on April 8, 2020, nearly two and a half months after it was imposed to slow the spread of the deadly coronavirus. But few consumers are returning to restaurants and shopping centres since many are still worried about contracting Covid-19 as the outbreak continues, leaving small business owners facing an uncertain future.

Heartbreaking to see. Perhaps Chinese government should put effort into helping the nation to heal the consequences of what China suffered during the previous 200 years. So that survival materialism mindset can ease up in the general population, which should gradually lead to increased trust among people and businesses, when people don't feel inclined to habitually cut corners in order to make every bit of extra profit they can, regardless of the socio-economic impacts of such behaviour.

It's a hard times for all small business around the world also (not to belittle to these 2 small business, but rather including them also). Lots of small business are closed while those that still remains open are fighting make sure that their businesses remain alive. Let's take our time and respect those that are in the fight. All of them are suffering, yet they still need to make a living, and even better cases cared for their employees. But let's not just press F/likes, as customer let us help them by supporting their business as well. Order takeouts/delivery and tipped them for their services. Every help we give to them is necessary and help them to stay in the fight. Let's not forget that because of them that maybe our local area become unique and authentic in its way. These people are hardworking with the heart of steel. We will always appreciate them for their services. And sad for those that could survive, may those people are in a comfort position, still surviving, and find better opportunities in the nearest future

At least these are business owners, they would be better off than normal people during prior periods. My city went into 2 stages of hard lockdown lasting just over 6 month. Think of all the ordinary people instead.

There is a shortage of fresh food in Wuhan at Lockdown. Such a waste to just let the food stock in restaurants to go bad. It will contribute a lot if the food can be donated at that time.

It's so heartening to see the streets of Wuhan active again... but then, things aren't "back to normal". I'm sure everyone is on edge.

They should put a big banner showed how they hygienically process the food, so people will read while passing by. And put a price on it.
Everybody has a hard time now, i wish it will over soon. Stay strong!
