Everyone is laughing about China. Look at the bridge In Baltimore USA, San Francisco Bay Bridge, the mall in LA & NYC that collapsed suddenly for no reasons.

In us, it's slow and poor quality
@@lindafukuyu5767 the collapsed of the bridge in baltimore still make sense. Because the bridge was struck by a container ship. No bridge could survive if a ship a struck it. But in china, building collapsed suddenly and idiotically the building was build too fast without safety.
Speedrun buildings? That mall looks old AF, it looks like it was built in the early 90's or late 80's.
No wonder China can build a hospital within 3 days. 😂

but that building took 5 years 😂
@firstlast-pt5pp it took 5 years to collect the bribes and about a week to build it
Why is this constantly happening in China anyways? I remember that video where a lady was walking and the concrete sidewalk suddenly swallows her up. Are the Chinese just really really bad at construction?
@@rurubelle2920 China just has zero regard for safety regulations, so companies are willing to skimp as much as possible on the construction.
This very sadly reminds me of the young mother who was pulled into an escalator several years ago. She did not survive. 😢 I'm so thankful that this woman & the construction worker will be alright. That must have been terrifying!

There are no support joist, just a big open space below the floor. Whoever built this has no construction sense at all. Glad the two people aren't badly hurt, but this should never have happened.
I lived in China for 3 years and saw many of this type of thing happen, I heard it was because there is no regulation in the construction industry and companies will often do things like mix paper into concrete to save money. Ridiculous.

Yeah in China coming out still breathing is considered minor injures.
"When was your last building inspection?"
Mall owner "Yes"
First escalators, now the floor 💀
Kudos to those firefighters for rescuing the customer and the construction worker.
00:28 "they sustained only minor injuries and are in stable condition" => in which other condition do you expect them if their injuries were "only minor"?
"they sustained only minor injuries" = in China this means they are dead.
😂😂😂
Minor injuries can change into more serious things, like sepsis, or an open cut, while not even needing stitches, being exposed to harmful chemicals or objects causing severe illness. One can also sustain 'minor injuries' and also be in critical condition either if they had an underlying condition (weak heart) and undergoing a stressful situation causing a heart attack, or was considered critical (hit head/ bleeding at scalp) but ending up only being minor.
That's what I think ..I don't think there would be just minority injuries ..
Stable condition could mean amputations and on life support. But minor injuries makes things clearer.

In mainland China, jail time and huge compensations ( lawyers not needed)
The construction worker who just happened to be right underneath this and also got trapped I suspect had a causal role in making the floor collapse
When people want the lowest possible construction price, and hand wave away help from experts like qualified engineers.

@@yzl5450 The bridge collapsed due to tens of millions of kg m/s of momentum, not because it was built of steel.
