It's kind of like a folk dance we did for a project. The dance also includes rolling on the floor but balancing a glass half filled with water on both your hand and one on your head then standing back up again to continue dancing lol. Our leader was hard on us on practice.

Tape/glue on the bottom of it. That shoe didnβt rock or move out of place once and its a high top π§π§π§

I jus wanna point out balancing a shoe on your own shoe is actually a lot easier than u think, the surface area and material of the sole helps A LOT
Itβs not the balancing but the flexibility to keep the sole up and not knocking it off with the other leg.

That's glued. I normally don't comment on videos or call them out for being lies, but a little wobble as she's twitching a bit is normal for those shoes as it's not completely flat from the bottom. As she rotates her legs from the side, it should've wobbled again.
So impressive when you have the shoe glued/tacked to the other shoe.
Nah those shoes are just SUPER bottom heavy, because they are chumky rubber soles and the top is just fabric. So not only do the rubber soles not slip from eachother, they can tilt a long way before tipping due to the low center of mass not passing the boundaries set by the sole width. No glue needed. Still impressive trick.

And that was in the plane of the shoes widest base width (heel to toe length) shoes that bottom heavy couldtilt to like 60-65 deg in that direction without the center of mass (the bit that effects turning moment) surpassing the base. Think about it this way, cut off the fabric of the shoe entirely in your mind, so its just the sole (since weight wise honestly thats close to whats happening rn) and rewatch the video.

In PTA school we did this with a book balanced on each hand and foot. You don't need a lot of flexibility, you just need to know which way to move each limb.
Obviously the shoes are stuck to one another. At no time in the video are the shoes separated. And you can see at some points that show would have fallen off.

Bruh that just isn't true. you can see quite clearly at literally the very beginning of the video she slides it and adjusts it easily to get it into a better position which would not be possible if the shoes were stuck together but you can also see the shoe rocking in certain spots. The whole point of the challenge is to not let the shoes seperate, so how you going to try and use that as proof it's fake?
