I grew up watching The Clone Wars and imagined the day where we would get an episode like this! This episode really meant a lot to me and to so many others. I couldn't have asked for a better episode!
Seeing Hayden use his lightsaber spin move again brought chills up and down my spine. The evolving lightsaber fight choreography and the different colored sabers used between Anakin and Ahsoka was simply amazing.
This episode was incredible! The metamorphosis flashback sequence was absolutely beautiful. From the lightsaber training duel in the WBW, to seeing Rex, to the alternating flashes of Anakin/Vader being illuminated by a fiery glow, to Ahsoka confronting her past (pain/trauma) and being guided by her Master in order to help her heal... all of it was simply immaculate. 🥰 Hayden, Rosario, Ariana... all 3 of you deserve your praises. Thank you for your exquisite work and for being a part of this beautiful ever expanding story. 🤍🙌

the force is strong with that kid. seriously, this was top-tier star wars. it goes up there with some of the best stuff from "the mandalorian", "obi-wan kenobi", and "andor". keep it going. i'm loving this. plus, hayden can still go with those moves and he was awesome in this episode as both anakin and vader. he taught ahsoka well. plus, props to ariana greenblatt as the young ahsoka. this and playing the young gamora in "infinity war". she's moving on up.
Best episode of the season so far . Rosario Dawson is perfect in the role . + The cinematography is gorgeous in this episode . Dave Filoni is the perfect guy for this franchise .
I think its the best episode we have ever gotten in Star Wars Live Action series. I mean Hayden Christensen in his original role as Anakin looked perfect, the connection with Ahsoka and their duel against each other was great. This was all so amazing and brilliant. The TCW falshbacks were so epic with Anakin in his Armor, together with a younger Ahsoka and as well as with Rex and the clones. It looked perfect and it was like a dream coming true. Best series from Disney thanks to Dave Filoni. 🎉🎉❤
As soon as I saw the clouds it made me think of the planet Christophsis. Such a beautiful and poetic callback to one of their first missions. As soon as I saw the Phase 1 clones come running I knew Anakin is going to show up. What an entrance, LIVE ACTION CLONE WARS ANAKIN. I wanted to see him in Live Action wearing his season 1 clone wars armor for so long. Hayden Christensen perfectly captured the feeling of Clone Wars Anakin and Episode 3 Anakin. His humor and seriousness was so on point. Anakin going back on forth between Anakin and Darth Vader was epic. Also the young Ahsoka actress did a perfect job of capturing the Clone Wars Ahsoka too, her demeanor and lightsaber skills were on point. Siege of Mandalore was unexpected but certainly a welcome one. Captain Rex voiced by Temuera Morrison felt on point too, Im really hoping we get to see Rex, Wolffe, Kallus and Zeb in the following episodes. Jacen sensing something in the water and hearing with Hera was a great moment. I am happy that Hera heard the lightsabers too, after all the Force resides in all living things. I am still hoping to see force ghost Kanan Jarrus now that his name is mentioned. Leia Organa name drop was awesome too. I knew Dave Filoni didn't forget about the Ahsoka's white attire. He introduced it in such a masterful way. Ahsoka finally got some closure with Anakin, I'm hoping thats not the last time we see him though, She is also in a way cleansed by the water in the world between worlds just like Din Djarin in Mandalore. Her demeanor and the way she talks are much more happier and relaxed than previous episodes. Very emotional and a very meaningful episode. THANK YOU DAVE FILONI!
I can't express how much I loved this episode. from 0:00 to the very end it was just beautiful. watching clone wars made this a more beautiful experience. this episode is beyond awesome and I couldn't have asked for something better. thank you Dave and thank you Star Wars ❤
I've been an enormous fan of this franchise for 24 years. I've seen this franchise reach enormous peaks, and plummet into unspeakable valleys. After this evening's episode, I was left speechless, and with no words as to describe how good it was. Please, for the love of GOD. LET, DAVE, COOK. This is the kind of writing we TRULY need going forward.

Spoiler Spoiler Someone nominate Hayden Christianson for an award! That was immaculate. This show deserves an Emmy. The Ahsoka actresses did a fantastic job. The actions from everyone was well done. Rex! Dave did a fantastic job. The entire crew of this show should be proud of themselves. This is truly a golden age of Star Wars. I haven’t felt this way about Star Wars since I was a kid watching Anakin, Ahsoka, and Rex charge into battle during in the 2008 clone wars tv show and movie. This made me feel like a kid watching this - I was lost in the story engrossed with the characters and the story.
This Episode was phenomenal! It makes me now want a live action version of Clone Wars (even if it's a movie or two). I'm pretty sure Ewan and Hayden would be down for that. Also: so good to see Tem back as the Clones/Rex, in updated garb!
