STAYC made a song about not judging girls based on their hobbies. The song is about a guy who judges girls for liking makeup, liking fashion, and wanting to stand out, because he has a stereotype that those girls are constantly trying to seduce men. The girl likes the guy, but she doesn't want him to think girls like herself all have an ulterior motive to seduce him, that's why she says "it may feel like I'm seducing you, if so, I'm sorry, don't look at me with your tinted glasses on". She doesn't want him to stop her from looking fancy because she's afraid he will judge her. She doubts her bold style because of the stereotype, but in the end she remembers that she knows what she looks like in her heart and she doesn't have to prove it to anyone. She doesn't want him to think that he can "hold her too tight" just because she has a bold style and captures attention of others. It's a really good message delivered in a gentle way that is easy to understand. Of course, there are many men who do this in real life, and it can become something serious. But Stayc put this song out as a small reminder, to tell young boys not to look at girls like them with tinted glasses on, and to encourage young girls to believe in themselves.

people tend to judge each other by appearance. Just because a girl looks dazzling doesn’t mean that she’s confident. It could be hard for a popular girl to step out from her comfort zone. Judging someone is compared to wearing colorful glasses hence the song’s kr title. Being pretty doesn’t necessarily fit the stereotypical image of beauty. The girl in the MV only wants to be loved for who she is despite her excessive love towards make-up and fashion uwu !

i'm still terribly impressed that "ASAP" managed to stay on the top 50 chart straight from one comeback to another. doing that as a girl group is almost impossible. doing that from outside the top3 agencies is even moreso. STAYC is for real.
Their company is really good at handling them. And they also have consistent comebacks, content, promotions and things that would make them stand out. Plus their music is so good and the members themselves are very talented and have good chemistry with each other. It is safe to conclude that STAYC will be big someday. Like trust me they will be.

BEP are really popular producers, it's an advantage honestly. Tho there's group like Brave Girls where the producers are popular but only gained attention this year. I'm glad they're promoting them well.
Doing that as a girl group is not that imposible..being a girl group is easier in digitally because Korean people are more receptive to girl group songs that are easy listening than boy groups that have to be listened to more than once, but yeah they did well from a not-so-big agency. They even can get 1st win with this song so SWITH lets continue streaming and vote😼🖑

@Daniel's Life I don't know the real context but analyzing the lyrics, she's (the main character on the song) a cute shy girl that wants to live her life but she calls up people attention for being cute, specially from a guy that she likes, being shy makes she very embarassed when he is around and she doesn't want to feel like that, because is who she is and she is not playing cute for attention.
@Daniel's Life stayc said that it's about, well, stereotypes. you shouldn't look at the surface and pretend you know everything about them. they said look past those stereotypes and see them for who they truly are.

Someone just explained the meaning behind this song and it's actually such a good message. I feel like in the society we live in, both boys and girls have a lot of expectations on the opposite sexes. For example, girl should be really pretty or boys should always be manly. Sadly, people have A LOT of expectations towards girls. Stayc (+their entertainment) did an amazing job delivering the message in terms of the girl's view. BOP !!!! (in my opinion)!!!

I'm so glad and relieved that they didn't stick with the typical pattern that some groups make. ASAP had a hook that made it really popular. So i was kinda scared that their next comeback would just be sounding like an ASAP version 2. This comeback proves that they're confident in exploring music and not be satisfied in milking out the bits and pieces of a previously successful song. I haven't really entered the fandom yet but STAYC's future is just soooooo bright I can't look away. Wishing them the best ❤❤❤

I REALLY enjoy STAYC's singing style. Everyone kind of meets that singing level, too, so they sound like a group that's found a way to blend together, unlike groups that have voices that excel way above others, or the vocal dynamics in groups are really various. Everyone in THIS group has a similar technique that feels like they're sisters that have sang together forever, and not just 6 random girls in a group.

the thing i like most about stayc is their unique vocal colors. they each have such different colors to their voices, which makes listening to them feel very interesting, and yet they blend so well together in every song. whoever distributes their parts also does a good job at giving them lines that suit their voices well. as a musician, I'm thoroughly impressed with these girls!

I feel like Stayc has the best leading vocals in a group as whole in 4th gen. Like If I didn’t stan, I wouldn’t be able to tell who position is lead vocals cause they all fit the description. This Song is 10/10!
that's actually very true. STAYC as a group are extremely versatile in vocals. Everyone can sing very well and all of them can easily be a lead vocal in other group. What's even better is that each of them has very distinct vocal color that sets them apart from each other. That what makes them truly amazing and perfect imo.
I know! I'm kind of glad they kept their rapping to a minimum and let their vocals shine through. The rap line even though they are good idol rappers, they were trained to be vocalists before that and each could stand their own and become lead vocalists in every other group they would be in.
You should take a look to Purple Kiss, those girls also eats CDs. I think they and STAYC are by far the best of the new gen
