세계가 주목하는 ATEEZ(에이티즈)가 한국, 북미, 유럽, 일본까지 총 18만 명의 팬들이 관람한 아레나급 월드 투어 ‘THE FELLOWSHIP : BEGINNING OF THE END’를 성황리에 마무리한 후, 새로운 앨범 [THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT] 발매를 알려 글로벌 팬들의 기대가 더욱 높아지고 있다.

8명의 멤버가 ATEEZ라는 이름 아래 하나가 되어 어딘가 있을 ‘Treasure’를 찾는 여정을 담아 낸 TREASURE 시리즈와 하나가 되기 전 각자의 뜨거운 청춘의 열병을 그려 낸 FEVER 시리즈에 이어 새로운 시리즈의 포문을 열어 줄 첫 번째 앨범 [THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT]는 새로운 세상 속 자유를 향해 돌진하는 ATEEZ(에이티즈)의 서사를 보여준다.
감정이 통제되어 행복도 슬픔도 느낄 수 없는 곳, 텅 빈 눈동자를 가진 사람들은 마치 기계와 같이 쳇바퀴 도는 삶을 살아간다. 꿈도 사랑도 사라진 무채색 도시 속의 사람들은 그 어느 것도 잘못된 것이 없다는 듯 일상을 보낸다.
도시의 지하 어딘가로, 감정에 눈을 떠버린 사람들이 모여든다. 희미하게 떠오르는 감정의 기억, 무언가 잘못되어가고 있음을 직감한 그들은 도시 곳곳에서 움직이기 시작한다. 닫혀버린 사람들의 눈을 뜨게 할 음악으로, 뜨거웠던 기억들을 닮은 춤으로, 이 움직임이 거대한 파도가 될 때까지.
이번 앨범의 타이틀곡 'Guerrilla'는 ATEEZ(에이티즈)가 마주한 즐거움과 슬픔, 사랑을 느낄 수 없는 억압되고 통제된 곳에서 변화를 향한 움직임의 시작을 알린다. 이러한 그들의 움직임을 세세히 묘사한 비트 체인지와 Psychedelic한 사운드가 돋보이는 'Guerrilla'는 ATEEZ(에이티즈) 특유의 에너지로 가득 차 있다. ATEEZ(에이티즈)가 일으킨 변화의 진동이 점차 천둥과 같은 소리가 되어 세상을 깨울 때까지 이들의 움직임은 멈추지 않을 것이다.

1. PROPAGANDA
매일 밤, 어김없이 같은 내용이 흘러나오는 방송
하늘의 눈은 우리를 감시한다.
그 눈을 피해 우리는 움직이기 시작한다.
2. Sector 1
화려하게 반짝이는 네온사인이 가득한 도시 속, 회색 빛깔의 사람들을 그린 곡으로, powerful한 비트 속 고조되어 가는 리듬과 짧은 텀의 쉼표는 어딘가 모를 그들이 가진 불안감을 표현하고 있다.
3. Cyberpunk
가려졌던 눈을 서서히 뜨기 시작한 소년들이 마주한 건 감정이 마비된 사람들. 무언가 잘못되었음을 느끼며 그 안에서의 혼란스러운 감정과 DYSTOPIA를 표현한 EDM 장르의 곡이다.
4. Guerrilla
하나둘씩 모여드는, 눈을 뜬 사람들. 즐거움과 슬픔 그리고 사랑도 느낄 수 없는 통제되고 억압된 이곳에서 우리는 움직이려 한다. 모두의 눈과 귀를 깨우고 싶은 열정, 그리고 춤과 음악으로 세상을 바꾸려 한다.
곳곳에서 느껴지는 변화의 작은 진동이, 점차 천둥과 같은 소리가 되어 세상을 깨울 때까지.
5. The Ring
“세상을 바꾸기 위한 힘이 필요하다. 우리가 가진 뜨거움이 힘이 될 때 모두를 지켜낼 수 있기를.” 이라는 메시지를 담은 ‘The Ring’은 힙합 트랙 위에 얹어진 웅장한 사운드가 조화를 이루고 있으며, 특히 마지막 오르간의 선율과 함께 울려 퍼지는 종소리는 곡의 매력을 더한다.
6. WDIG (Where Do I Go)
조금만 방심해도 나를 잃어버리는 세상 속, 나 자신을 잃은 사람들이 가득한 이곳에서 서로는 서로의 아픔과 눈물에 공감하지 못한다. 그 속에서 “눈물로 가득 찬 세상 속 나는 어디로 가야 하는 걸까?", "우리는 어디로 가야 하는 걸까?", "서로의 아픔에 공감하며 사랑할 수 있는 평화의 세상이 될 수는 없는 걸까?”라는 물음표 가득한 의구심을 표현한 곡이다.
7. New World
한 사람, 한 사람의 작은 소리들을 모아 천둥과 같은 음악이 완성될 때 새로운 세상이 열릴 수 있다.
ATEEZ(에이티즈)의 새로운 시리즈의 시작인 [THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT]의 피날레를 장식하는 ‘New World’는 새로운 세상은 희망으로 가득 차길 바라는 ATEEZ(에이티즈)의 마음을 음악으로 풀어낸 곡이다.
