'RICA RICA'는 네이처가 지난 2020년 6월 발매한 'NATURE WORLD: CODE M(네이처 월드: 코드 엠)' 이후 약 1년 6개월 만에 선보이는 신보로, 음악팬들의 오랜 갈증을 씻어줄 네이처의 밝은 에너지를 담았으며, 네이처 멤버들이 직접 타이틀곡 ‘RICA RICA’ 음원을 만드는 과정에서 펼쳐지는 성장 스토리를 담은 모큐멘터리 ‘네이처 이대로 처 망할 수 없다’를 통해 팬들에 대한 마음을 전했다.

Honestly, I believe the company knew exactly what they were doing with this comeback. Let’s be real here, this group is not that popular. The company decided to release a song that would attract attention for the bold concept. It could’ve been executed well, but the company failed to realize that you can’t just slap a bindi on a girl and automatically be Indian.
Rather than being noticed for the bold concept, its now being known for the cultural appropriation and not the girls talent. It's a total waste and now the girls will be known for this, which sucks because they have so much potential.

If you put the MV aside, the song is (in my opinion) absolutely killer. It's extremely energetic (which i love) and the chorus is very, very catchy (and somewhat memorable, something that would stay in your head for a veryyy long time). No words on the bridge, it's mindblowing.
Definitely a 10/10. Though, this will never top Girls.

Nature never worked on this song or anything else, their company n.ch entertainment worked on the song etc. Without letting the girls put in their own stuff. Blame n.ch, not Nature. Nature never agreed on using this as their comeback, ever, the company forced them to use this song, the company just sat there, seeing their own group become a hot topic among netizens because of this song, n.ch destroyed their only active group with this at the time. Nature doesn't deserve hate, the company does. Nature deserves better and a better company, n.ch should take notes from other companies that treat their idols better than themselves ( n.ch ). The company stayed silent and kept the girls silent, the girls couldn't speak up about this as it would get deleted by their company and no one would notice what they are going thru.

I don't think people realize just how much money a kpop video costs to make, so it can be challenging for any but the largest companies (Hype, SM, JYP, etc.) to come up with the money for a big budget mv. There was a show a few years ago - Sisters Slam Dunk - and on the show they sent two members on a Korean quiz show to try to win enough money to have a bigger mv.
@@jamesrawlins735 Yeah, I think I have view an interview of a producer (I forget his name), and the producer said that MV and song production cost the most (he says the number but I forget) while album creation is the least one, and that's why the company rely so much on the song sales and album sales to at least get pay back the investment. He also says for album sales it may only pay back the investment if the sales reach 100k copies.
And yeah thats the struggle of underated group or small company especially in pandemic because there is so little off air events

TBH, you have to sell ALOT of digital singles compared to physical album sales. One reason you see Kpop groups promote as much as possible in Japan is they sell a lot more physical albums and DVDs there, which is a much higher profit (and why Japanese music companies have little interest in promoting outside of Japan). I don't think people realize, for example, how much money the AKB girl groups make (AKB48, for instance, has 40 consecutive million selling singles - in PHYSICAL SALES! - since 2010.)
