I think the real meaning behind this is their life in the way to became a kpop idol and after they become a kpop idol. I'm talking 'bout the struggles and all. They use the reference of the puma who escape the zoo. The environment is not the same, they got their face on the internet, they face many disapproval and so on... But they just keep it up to reach their dream as the line "my choices are my leader". I remember Kai and the member told us that he cries a lot during their trainee time.
Soobin once told us that his family really discourage him and very disapproval of his choice of carrier and the moment he got really insecure of himself... he also go for the auditions without their information and although he pass it, his mom told him that it only because of his good looks... Yeonjun also face the same things during his study at the English Academy. His principal belittle his choice of carrier in front of the students who passed by... Thanks to his mother's love and support, Yeonjun became who he is now.
Also in the chorus they say "But I feel happy somehow, I've never felt like this, facing freedom for the first time, I'm my own believer". In my opinion, most of the male groups go for a more sexy concept. TXT started with Crown, a fun and innocent song. Then went to Runaway, a more magical concept. And now, they came back with Can't You See Me, that is a little bit darker than the previous title songs. And with Puma you can see how much they grow as artist. Taehyun and Hueningkai are still under age, but pull out the concept so yell. Soobin that is always shy, showed a different side of him. Beomgyu when performing is a totally diferent person. And Yeonjun, this is his era. Love all of them, but PUMA was made for him.
And I think Bighit did everything right. They started TXT with a more innocent look, because they were so young and had a lot to learn. And in each comeback we can see the concept getting better and better, and also, we can see the respect Bighit has. They give them time to grow as artist and discovery their style.

Taehyun. Just mere weeks after your debut and my personal introduction to you, I became so attached to every TXT song and music video there was. I started with becoming familiar and motivated by your dancing style. I can see the determination that you have of putting on a perfect stage in the way that you move your body, but I can feel the enjoyment and connection that you have with MOA on your face. You have so much passion and your movements are so rigid and solid. I can always tell just how hard and how gifted of a dancer you are with each unique TXT choreography. I know that you work hard to learn and perform each of them flawlessly, which you always do, but it’s always so fun to watch your face as well. You combine hard work with fun and it’s so evident to see when you dance. I love you even more because I know that recently you’ve been personally working on different dancing styles and you come back ready to show it to MOA with every opportunity. You are so bright, especially for your age and I know that this brings an even more interesting dynamic to TXT as well. You help your members see in a way they previously hadn’t. You are incredibly professional, and you represent both your group and yourself very well. You’re very poised, and I often question whether or not you still feel nerves because you hold yourself together so well. I believe you make every environment more comfortable and you encourage your members to be more loose as well. I know that because you’re bold and not afraid to speak up sometimes on your members’ behalf, it causes them to match your energy and break out of their shell as well. Every person that comes into contact with you undoubtedly feels so lucky to have gotten to meet somebody so kind and giving. The world is so lucky to have somebody like you as a reminder of how to treat others. On this note, I want to personally thank your parents and family for raising you and helping you become the beautiful person that you are today. I know that they shaped you and we have them to thank for bringing you into the world with such love. I know that they love you in a way that we could never understand and I want to take this opportunity to pay my respects to them and commend them for all that they have done for you to reach your dreams. They are the most proud of you and we keep them in our hearts as you do them. Taehyun, you have the absolute biggest heart that you give to your MOA with each passing second. Since even before your debut, you’ve been working hard to share with your MOA, who were eagerly waiting for you, everything that you possibly can show. You have never disappointed us since you began your journey to become an idol. You have been so honest and truthful with us ever since you could first communicate with MOA. There are always times when I feel as if you don’t even have to share some parts of your life with your MOA, but you always keep us updated anyway. You trust us with some of your secrets and MOA know some parts of your heart that others don’t know.
