I was in high school and college in the 70s. A lot of the styles you have in this video are actually 60s fashions. My sisters were wearing those styles in the 60s.

I dressed that same since I was little kid. I will wear a t-shirt, jeans, sweatshirt or hoodie, and a pair of sneakers. I’m a little bit Tomboyish in growing up in the 70’s though today. I will wear a dress when I feel like it. My style of clothing is comfortable to wear. When I wore these slacks with this one top that goes with when I was 7 years old. Sometimes I would wear a sweater when I was a kid. Even my mother made these jumpers with slacks for me and my sister to wear when we were little.

Love your combinations, love the era, but I don't want the smell of the seventies: trevira, polyester, sweat and sigarettes. But boy it is hard to get these clothes in natural fibers, especially pointy collar button-ups.

The look you show at the beginning of your video is late 1960s HIPPY fashion.It is NOT 1970s fashion.Hippies did NOT wear platform shoes.They wore sandals or went barefoot.Hippies are a "back to nature" (not really nature but their mistaken version of nature)fashion movement.Hippies wore their hair washed,parted in the middle with no hairspray.Those colored glasses you show at the beginning of the video are 1960s style hippie glasses NOT 1970s style. 1970s style fashion is like this:wide leg pants(not bell bottoms.Those are hippie fashion).Platform shoes,glam make up,flipped bangs.After 1976 till 1979 fashion turns to disco so platform shoes are out because people can't walk in them.Skirts are at least knee length and disco is the thing until punk rock
