Dear D&E, I am afraid I don't have fromm so I am writing this here, I hope you don't mind and if anyone takes exception or offense with what I write then that is their problem. In general I do not believe that artists owe their success to their fans no matter how hard their fans work to support them. In general (there are a few exceptions, eg the group associated with the around 400 nanometre wavelength) artsits success comes from their hard work and talents, with at least some luck. I do not think you owe us fans anything. I know you listen to fans and thats not a bad thing, but if you go against your instincts or your own opinions due to what fans say then it is. You had such faith in yourselves forming your own company and a great deal of courage as well. I hope that you continue to keep that courage and faith in yourselves and listen to your own instincts and opinions more than you do to fans who cross the line and become controlling and entitled. You will never be able to please everyone so don't try to. Please know that you did nothing wrong with this album. I really believe the people who made you feel like you had, that bullied and tried to ruin the album were never going to support you. They would have always made a fuss about something. As far as I can fathom they either really want to see you fail or they want the control back that they feel they lost when you left SM as soloists. Their way of being a fan means have control over you, a form of ownership of you. That is not healthy for anyone as you know from experience. Please don't listen to them again, please don't empower them. Ignore them. Keep that faith that you have more fans who really want to see you succeed than those who don't and keep that faith in your talents to know that as long as you do your best, follow your instincts and work hard you will succeed. You have got this far because you have done all three. Please don't allow any one least of all such entitled 'fans' take that faith from you. I know you know all of this given how long you've been in the indsutry but you are new to being CEOs and I know for all of us when we start on a new venture espcially one that is so hard like you have that we all forget a lot of what we have learned and need reminding sometimes. I hope hearing it from real fans can in a wee way help you to hold onto and maybe strengthen that faith. You have good instincts as you have good hearts, don't doubt yourselves. I am sorry that us AnnieElfs/Annie fans weren't able to drown out the controlling 'fans'. Hopefully we can do better next time so that they don't cause a fuss and harm you again. Annies will learn from this. We are also new to being fans of an independent D&E so I hope you can forgive us for our failings. Thank you for your hard work Eunhyuk and Donghae. I am proud of you both. Lots of love.💙
