Fortnite Made a Big Mistake.

OG Educational Commentary for you guys! I've been grinding the season and I have a bunch of tricks and strats for build mode and zero build!

I've only managed to find the semi-auto sniper rifle once so far. I'll definitely try and get it again after watching this. It feels refreshing to play without mythics, augments and NPC's.

Things I didn't know:
- No fall damage with grappler;
- Some rifts are permanent;
- Semi-auto sniper doing 90+ base damage.

So many people called the Semi Auto Sniper trash in chapter one. But it was one of my favorites. Good to see it being broken now.

I really want them to keep this map man, I have my drop that I used for years and I can actually get like 5 wins in a row and I’ve been playing better in this map because there isn’t so many thing that help people hide. I like how wide open this map is compared to the other ones besides chapter 2

Glad to see the Semi-auto sniper getting some love. By far my favorite weapon cause it got me my first win back in c1 s3. Loved the sniper back then, glad to see it back.

I like how the semi auto sniper went from a weapon that everyone disliked and didnt want to use, and then its damage got buffed massively with a very small decrease to fire rate.
And now, Sypher respects it.
two other changes I found was the burst assault rifle fires in burst’s of 3 instead of 2, with some other changes as well, but its still not as powerful as the OG burst in terms of raw damage. The heavy shotgun is the only weapon so far to have its og texture back AND a balance change
And since the blue rarity of semi auto sniper deals 101 damage, why even use any other sniper?

With the original grappler, I remember pulling myself downward and being killed by the resulting “fall” damage. Hilarious!

Sypher honestly has been my favorite creator since fortnite was made. all the way from chapter 1

Yesterday the semi auto literally is the reason I got my first win. It was final guy and he was getting me low with the ar, but then I hit a body shot which made it way easier to take the guy out.

For perspective: the semi-auto used to to do 98 to the body on a purple one as far as I remember

The bushes can also negate the effect from a thrown boogie bomb, just incase someone didn't know or was unsure! 👍

I swear I’m seeing more players use the bush and the semi auto sniper now

the scope assault rifle is so good. i rather have that than a sniper. also i feel i got better accuracy in this update. i dont know what it is. it might be because somehow gunplay is slower that what we had but that has helped me especially because my sensitivity is low due to the curse of motion sickness lol

Returning to Chapter 1 made my opinion stronger that best Chapter was 3. Fun+Casual+Coolest map

It’s funny seeing people complain about shields and chests, that’s how it was in the OG days lmao
I came back a couple weeks ago after not playing since season 1 chapter 3ish (whenever they got rid of dusty depot for dusty divot is when I stopped) and was shocked at people literally ignoring chests because they already got badass load outs within minutes. Back in the day it was a struggle to get shields, ammo, epic guns etc.

This is how snipers should be used for a fun experience for everybody. They're not annoying nor useless.

The Semi-Auto Is INSANE. I SHREDDED ANYONE who dared to step In the scope of this thing. All I can say is START BEAMIN EM BOIS.

Just a little fact is that the semi auto sniper has been crazy like this for a few seasons now although it was only in creative it was still the same stats as it is now.

Glad I’m not the only one noticing how cracked the Semi-Auto is now 😂

I already know that the Semi-auto is busted but honestly revealing this fact to everyone is going to be frustrating because now everyone else is going to use this strat and the field ofnplay will balance out from that

I remember accidentally hitting a headshot on someone yesterday and my first thought was “Since when could it do that?” This thing is a monster.😂

You CAN pick up an item as you use a rift but its a very tight window and must be done between the use timer ending and the rift appearing. managed to do it today to keep a hunting rifle with me through a rift.

It's funny you made this video I was talking about how it was hard to get a win in this season but this makes everything alot easier

Iv used the ryft on low ground but if u want to get ur item back then u have to be quick cause when u land and pick ur item up the ryft only last a split sec longer so u have to be quick on low ground on high ground then u have a bit longer and og fn is absolutely fantastic

back when they made snipers oneshot again (chapter 3 season 4?) the semi auto was extremly good.
i personally think its one of the best snipers because it has 10 shots, pretty good firerate, a good reload, and obviously 1 shot headshots.

Found the Semi-Auto in the first round of OG. Got 10 kills that round and even barely survived being third partied from behind by getting a quick scoped headshot kill on him. It was so much fun! 😂

I was being safe with the grappler this whole time, thanks for letting us know it’s different now lol

SypherPK is the only reason I got my first win back in season 3. I watched all his videos for tips on how to get a dub.

Me and my friends have been playing zero build squads and bro the scoped ar is crazily accurate we haven’t gotten less than 35 kills in total and one game we even got 42 and there was still like 15 people left

little tip when you are in loot lake and you are stuck doing the slow jog. If you jump and then hold the slide key while in the air you will land and do a slide but it will look like you are crouching and have water debuffs but its no where near as bad as just jogging and jumping.

Im glad I get to play the original map, but its empty. Can't find shields for some reason. If Fortnite came out today with these visuals, not many would play it.

the grenade launcher is also insanely broken. If you have high ground you can just shoot it and it like auto explodes when near them. does like 80 damage too, so good.

People used to hate this gun. Now it's a menace, lol.
I must say, I love using snipers, but I despise the fact that 3 of them are in the game at once, and just how strong they are. I don't know how I haven't fallen victim to sniper spam...yet.

Silenced AR and burst "famas" AR are probably the best rifles, the P90 smg is still godly and for when your in water - use crouching as somehow you move faster ive found.

Yesterday i played squads and i stayed 10 min with 1 hp and 0 shield with a chug jug because i was having fun. I also won alone in trios thanks to the zone(i had 20 total health and they had grapplers but they weren't able to climb the mountain north of flush factory)

I started playing mainly in chapter 4 season 1. Ive never played on og maps but rn I still prefer the old chapter 4 map bc I know it better but it think overtime ill like this map better than chapter 4 map. However I love the (new to me ) old guns because people will mainly be using the same weapon instead of 400 different types of weapons and then mythic like witch broom and like a mythic havoc

I couldn’t remember there being a rift in Salty, now I know why. 😂
