I tested them in Minecraft early and so should you...

I will vote for Glare because:
1-Its really cute
2-Its a completely new monster
3-Will help Bedrock and pocket edition players (because they dont have F3)
4-The Caves will not be so linear, because now those new open areas mines with gigantic structure will exist so you will need a lot of torches to light that areas up because huge horde of monsters equals big death( the areas im referring its the ones where the player rides a boat across the water in the caves those areas where bright in the trailers but in game they will be in complete darkness)
5-To help me know if i entered the deep dark biome so i can avoid the Warden

I hope they all get into the game at some point, like with the biomes.
Especially because bedrock players don't have mods that can let them add the loosing mobs into the game. (Also the allay is so freaking cute omg)

To make everybody happy, I think Minecraft should put them all into the game.

I'm still trying to choose between Glare and Allay, but it doesn't really matter what mob wins, all of them are good :D

I consider that the intention to make minecraft more alive with these mobs is wrong.
These mobs will end up being enslaved in some way or another, because their concepts originate it, Insurance players will have the glare locked in a box until they have to use it to see dark places, the alleys will be put to work collecting items in automatic farms, and the copper golems will be in small boxes pressing buttons until they rust.
I really hope I'm wrong and that doesn't happen, but I fear the worst ...

@@koryan6294 sadly I didn't, I would have had a very difficult time choosing the mobs, one finds you the mob spawning areas along with lighting then up secretly which is useful in hardcore and normal mode, one is a literal walking item sorter, other one is a cute copper golem who has this undiscovered random button pressing ability, see I won't go deep into analysis😂 but Im saddened that they all 3 aren't coming to the game, allay got voted because people have wayyy lot of problems sorting items and it dances soo... And glare is soo good for me right now, since Im trying to build a ravine home and many mobs spawn there in just normal mode, I would love glare to find the spots but iron golem went to the 2nd round and not glare because its cute animation of not being able to touch a button 1 block above and its undiscovered, lil complex button pressing ability, buttons are underrated, used less and the golem would have added a new importance to buttons and also the very hyped but failed copper ore, imagine a army of 100 copper golems! How cute, and you don't need to find em like allay and glare, just build them with the most common ore copper but since allay was a literal flying/dancing cute blue colour angel who had the most easy to understand ability which solved the problem often faced by many players, allay won, I would have chose allay or copper golem, I do have a good sense of judgement and I love to help the less likely to win team, I would have choosen golem because I knew allay is going to be the winner

I think some of the next few updates Minecraft needs most are a parity update and a consistency/improvement update. I feel like Minecraft is adding new and amazing features to the game, but I still believe that there is enough room for improvement that Minecraft should take an update or two to make the already existing features so much better or just fix small annoying things. To make all features to be the same for both versions, Minecraft developers for both editions could have meetings and decide how features should be for both versions. This would be things like deciding if to make the boat crafting recipe on both editions 5 wood planks or 5 wood planks and a shovel. Or things like should cooked cow meat should be called cooked beef or steak. Another reason Minecraft needs a parity update is so we can have cross-platform play between java and bedrock, making more multiplayer fun without additional add-ons! Minecraft needs a consistency/improvement update so we can make things like the command block texture symmetric, glazed terra-cotta blocks line up in a pattern, dispensers working in cauldrons, endermen taking damage from water cauldrons, water cauldrons removing fall damage, giving a use for chainmail armor, etc.

Everywhere I look when it comes to the building community, it's very common to hear people compliment others on how alive, lively, detailed, immersive, etc... their build is. There are a shit ton of ways to make your build lively. With the Allay, at least we got really solid mechanic with QOL, and a new mob.

it's sad, Minecraft is like nothing now compared to mods. Adding entities from mob vote which get voted off, more biomes or even better villages and ravines spawns. Is Mojang lazy or just incompetent.

They have many other things to do and they gotta make sure they're almost bug free before publishing them.

I've done some personal mods before and game design in general it's not as easy as people think just to make things feel fully implemented, there's lots more than just throwing a model into a game too, you have to account for A LOT of things. Mojang has to sometimes take three steps back to take four steps forwards and it requires recoding, bug testing, etc, which is something that is imperative for game developers and is lacking in 99% of mods out there. Mob votes are really just one thing in a sea of dozens, Mojang does this for playerbase interactivity, these implementations are up to you regardless of how good or bad the mobs are in both design and function, I assure anyone that takes these things that deeply into consideration that these mobs are nothing compared to what they do in a days work even with all I mentioned previously.

Of course nothing is stopping them resources/money or personnel wise, to be fair I think they should. The reason is probably about balance, but at the same time, all these mobs are pets, they weren’t that big a deal that they could have added, and as you can see from this video, don’t worry, the modding community will add the rest :)

They clearly have the budget , manpower , and the brains so why just adding one mob and even when they add that one mob they have generic , lame quirks.

As for the Glare showing players a way out of a cave, I think a way to do that is to have the Glare be attracted to light that’s beyond the player’s vision. Of course, it wouldn’t always lead the player out of a cave, but it’ll lead them somewhere hollow

I like all of them. They’re designs are adorable and their uses are minimal seriously they’re all minimal uses. besides who doesnt want a pet golem hes adorable!

Copper Golem:
-It adds life to builds.
-It can become statue if you don't wax it.
-It is related to archeology.
-It is a walking lightning rod.
-Programmable pathfinding is possible maybe difficult but possible and better with golem.

To anybody who thinks allay is good for farms: On the farms page of the wiki, I found only 3 out of 40 farms that have allay potential.
To anybody who thinks allay is good for mining: It only carries a stack, meaning you would need a massive army to do anything decent and it would impede upon mining speed.Just use chests.

this is unironically an EXTREMELY cute idea

copper golem is useless with red stone it is just a randomizer but in first place it not even work after certain amount of time (it will turn into statue so there is not even a single possibility)but the allay improve red stone by simple sorters + work as a wireless hopper and more importantly it is constant and controlled by note block which is possible by red stone to control automatically and you can use it while mining (it will collect the cobblestone and etc left on ground so our inventory management also improved.
(You can vote for whatever you want but some people choose the vote from cool and beauty perspective + some people thing copper golem as red stone related and this comment is to let you know the use of those mobs ) and my vote is for allay.
Note=> glare is good but light level of hostile mob spawn already changed to 14 from 7 so it is not that much of help full

Yes, it is a good design, but for light levels even if you don't have the f3 screen you can just count how many blocks away is your light source. Not to forget that the light level for spawning will be reduced to 0, so basically if you see light there's not gonna be any mob spawning.

the glares abilities are probably the most useful in my opinion, especially in Hardcore!

allay seems like it would be the most useful for mob farms. instead of having abunch of useless stuff in your hopper system, the allay can pick up specific mob drops

It is cute but I think it just finding dark spots is kinda useless maybe finding unexplored mines or maybe even alerting to when mobs are around would be interesting! I'm still glad the Allay got voted but I'm honestly surprised the iron golem didn't win
