I have used Anker chargers for years and still have a couple that are probably 6 years old with thousands of charges on them, I would recommend any of their products from past experience and I am glad to see them making a even more powerful home unit, They are pricey but competive and exceed others with similar products on the market like goal zero, bluetti ect , From what I see the quality is better then competitors in bench testing with its nearest competitors and well laid out , so I will definately be buying more of their products in the future.

I have just bought the larger of these two Anker power systems and can’t wait to receive it. So far everything I have bought from Anker has been excellent. I picked the larger one to use at home when power goes out. I will connect my modem and a fan. If it is winter I will use it to run an electric throw on my bed for an hour. And I will charge my iPad and phone from this if the outage lasts so long that the little power banks for those are depleted.

Now it looks like I’m going to Maine for some winter camping so looking for something a little more powerful to periodically run a mini ceramic heater, 400 or 450 watt (confusing label).

First time viewing your channel, very helpful review as I am considering the 521 vs 535. Just wanted to mention, I am sure this 521 battery is too large to board a plane in hand luggage, and therefore you would not be able to get through security and use. Limit is 100HW and the 521 is 256WH. Aside from that, great review :) will check out the rest of your channel

  • @MrSavintheDay

Using the car socket is more efficient, since you don't run the inverter (A/C plugs). I run 12v car plug from the truck to power station (to Charge and run frig) when truck on. Then the power station is plugged into portable frig with 12v plug. The frig then will run off power station when truck is off, since the trucks 12V to power station is then off. Just have to watch if truck is running more than a couple days because power station won't be getting re charged.

I just Liked this Video and Subscribed to your channel ! I bought an
Anker 521 Power Station and hoping to locate a suitable adapter to
charge it with a Solar Panel. I have seen a few reviews on Amzon
that some folks are buying a common 8mm plug and have to cut or
modify the barrel to get it to fit. I have a ZAMP folding Solar
Panel with SAE connections. I understand that the Controller with
most Solar Panels needs to be Bypassed to properly charge most Power
Stations. I believe that Anker recommends using a 7.9mm plug also
know as a "7909 DC" to charge their Power Stations with a Solar
Panel. I am looking for a quality Plug and Play adapter / cable. Any
comments on what specific make and model of an adapter to fit an
Anker 521 to an SAE connection would be Great ! Thank You for taking
the time to Help me and lots of other owners of an Anker Power
    Station :)
