I do this and it is great. I mix a white powder with a more skin toned one and a banana one to make my perfect powder combo

I love to have the items listed as well but I know it can be time consuming. It would help if the information was on the screen longer than a second or two so we can pause it and write it down if we take notes.

I know this may sound crazy, but stay with me for a moment... please donβt take offense at this, because no offense is meant. When I was younger, my grandmother used Cody air spun powder. When I was little I would say that thatβs what heaven would smell like. After she passed, I went and bought a container, just so every once in a while I could open it up and smile. I didnβt think anybody used it anymore until I watched your videos. I use it myself now and again. Thanks for letting me share my memory. β€οΈ

Please do a foundation declutter!!! That is my absolute favorite bc to me foundation is the most important part of your makeup bc it is LITERALLY the base for either amazing makeup or crappy makeup. I love knowing your updated foundation favs every year bc so much new foundations come out so often and my skin is combination like yours and I usually love everything you recommend!

Just lost my grandma this morning, decided to watch KRplus and do my make up to feel a bit better. I chose this video in particular because I knew it would distract me a bit. What you said about your grandpa was so incredibly touching and helped me feel so much better. What a surreal coincidence.
Iβm so sorry Tati. Iβm watching this in bed and my husband was watching over my shoulder. I guess he doesnβt find face powders as interesting as you and I. Heβs now sound asleep and weβve only talked about 4 powders.
Mel Thompson did a video a while back and she was upset because they not only changed the La Mer powder which had been her holy grail, but they gave you 1/2 the amount for an increased price! So - "reformulated", and 1/2 the product for a higher price - yeah, she was not happy.
^ yep, saw the same video from Mel. She's like "expert" level of La Mer info. I bought the La Mer powder brush bc of her. (I already had the Sonja Kashuk version that she likes.)

I love hearing you talk about the mental power of makeup. I always go back and forth with my dad, as heβs part of the βyou donβt need it! Why?β Camp, and I always just say i love how it makes me feel. Not that I feel bad without it, but itβs transformative and a similar escape to painting. Loving yourself and your face is important :)
I always tell people it's like doing art on your face.
A lot of my friends and family give me crap about my makeup routine, but it really does make me feel good about myself! It's my way of getting in the right head space and preparing to tackle whatever the day brings as confidently as possible. β€
Iβve gone most my life rarely wearing makeup because itβs time consuming and I like to keep it βspecialβ. Iβve started wearing veeeery basic makeup daily mostly just because I like to see myself with clear skin. Itβs still me itβs still my face just without acne scars and blotchiness. I also love playing with eye shadow, i donβt wear it often but I love arts and crafts so it just feels like a new outlet for me.
Finally someone I can relate to!! I have so much makeup and it's so therapeutic especially playing with new makeup

The Maybelline Fit Me powder is my FAVORITE powder EVER! Literally wear it as a powder foundation over a bit of concealer and itβs perfection for super light natural makeup. Looovvveee.

artsybirdy _ well for my personal taste i think itβs definitely pigmented enough. I just apply concealer (makeup revolution conceal and define) to any areas that i want a bit more coverage on and then apply the powder overtop and itβs perfect. If youβre into the natural βno makeupβ makeup type of look i would totally recommend giving it a try. Honestly is my ride or die powder, Iβd be totally fine never having any other powder!
