Is it just me, or do yβall think, that Tati has such a soothing voice too? Itβs so calming especially after a stressful work day π₯Ίπ
Agree. I'm British and, without meaning any offense to anyone, I tend to find some American accents to be quite harsh. Not Tati though β€ Having said all that, many of our accents are hideous so who am I to judge?! ππ

I think so too. Whenever I have problem sleeping I just play Tati's videos and it relaxes me listening to her voice... I think Tati should use her voice which is one of her biggest gifts as well as her beauty and lovely fun personality

I think sheβs beautiful with great bone structure. But sadly I think sheβs very insecure. Thatβs why she seldom does a close up until she completes her base. I hope young gals donβt watch these videos and feel like they have to look like that.

This would be a good idea for visually impaired people like Molly Berke who love make up but don't have the option of eyeballing placement. May even be useful for people who have dexterity issues as well.

I have to say, you look lovely no matter what, but your non-contoured side looks so much more youthful. Your paler skin paired with a lighter shade of bronzer really makes your natural features stand out...less is more. BTW, this tool seems too extra in an already inflated beauty market.

Iβm a makeup artist of 16 years Iβve worked on celebs and have a good reputation and her makeup is really good and knowledge . Of 16 year of doing this I know my stuff and itβs not . It actually matches her

The contour tool is a piece of misshapen plastic for *20* bucks. Atleast the brush is a tricky manufacturing process.

She usually does more neutral tones in winter. I think she's in denial that summer is over π

Ur a person who really doesn't "need" contour but ur makeup looks so complete with it and it gives color and more structure
I agree her face is naturally angled so beautifully but the extra tan/contour looks pretty also, just maybe alittle more subtle since she really doesn't need it. I think she may have made it darker to show people what it does.

I'm not the biggest fan of contour on anyone.. I get the point of it and definitely can look very beautiful. Just seems like a lot to do for everyday.

I think the camera is picking it up super heavy because when she put it on it looked so heavy.
Because she put the contour on first, I think she usually does it the other way around.
I think it's the resolution on the camera/phones. I bet in person it looks perfect.

Tati i love you but i gotta be honest that the color of your bronzer is too harsh and doesn't suit your skin color.

Worst thing that happened in the video is the choice of color of the first bronzer although it could be the lighting .
she likes the warm bronzers, especially in summer. I don't love it either, but that's her preference right now.

You had plenty of highlight on first though....so the cheekbones were already 3D not flat. Yep I like it better before contour too!

I don't want or need this, but I have two thoughts: 1) $20 for a permanent tool is fair - people who love the Beauty Blender gladly do that REPEATEDLY; 2) this would be amazing for someone who has problems with fine motor control. I know someone with nerve damage in their hand and this could be ideal! Thanks for the video!
Zagadka omg great point! I have a tremor in my dominant hand and mess up my makeup all the time. This would so help with that!
Harder in my opinion (severe nerve damage in my dominant hand), as you have to use both hands to do it, and switch which hand you hold it with/apply contour with on each side of the face.
Hi Tati! This actually reminds me of the cat eyeliner tool. I paused the side by side and agree with most people, you're gorgeous and don't need contour, but it does elongate your face and thin your jawline. It's a pretty cool trick! And if it makes you happy and feel good, then you do you β€οΈ
You could accomplish the same result using a kitchen spatula and save yourself $20.

I use a student loan bill for my drag contour which is 1) free -- besides the loan lol, and 2) a great conversation piece when ppl compliment the contour

Sheβs bronzing, you can contour with bronzer. Not everyone looks good with a grey toned contour. I look like a zombie if I donβt use a bronzer instead
Agreed. I was like "dang, that is one orange-y shade right there"...If I contour, I always go with an ashy toned matte bronzer. Otherwise, I use a bronzer just to warm up my face, and I choose one that is very subtle in tone, so it's not so jarring in contrast.

Itβs a technique she has picked up from Scott Barnes, J.Loβs makeup artist. But I agree, it doesnβt look natural and doesnβt really enhance her features, but makes her makeup look heavier. She knows what sheβs doing though and itβs more like a personal preference thing. In the end thatβs all itβs about really, feeling pretty in your own skin with your application and techniques.
