I don't, so I actually appreciat the shades and because I wear bold colours often. I hate sheer, basic colours, too boring and basic for me. But the Reviera palette is interesting and actually pigmented. lol
There is no need to create something bold with interesting colours. I cannot have very bright and colourful makeup everyday because of the job. But I love this palette and always manage to do wearable looks

don't believe she uses cheaper brushes, except for Morphe. she'd probably have to buy a few different kits and test them out, but yes this is a great idea! I would also really like to know this
BH Cosmetics brushes are great! Iโve had the same set for 5 years and I clean my brushes literally every other day and they have never fallen apart or lost bristles! Wet and wild has good ones too.

The loud lip was amazing!!!!!! Preferred that to the toned down one with this look and Iโm usually a very nude lip kinda girl. You were rocking it! Gave me such modern 80โs vibes also!

Real talk - this was a GOOD video. I really appreciate how real you are about what can and can not be achieved with palettes and how photo editing can give the consumer a different impression of a product. Also giving less expensive options with the same wow bam neon factor was A+. I feel like as more and more product comes to market, having someone like you to be upfront and say "yeah this is good but you might already have something that can achieve a similar result" is rare. Idk I just really liked this video and the message behind it

I get sad when she talks about the James Charles pallet they were clearly already having problems at this time but sheโs still supporting him. I know Tati asked that people not load her comments with James stuff but I thought it was important to point out. Also love that Tati pointed out these colors exist in other pallets but the layout of this one makes it seem so unique

Omg that intro was so editorial, I am living for it.
That comment about Facetune kind of bothered me. Our perception of makeup and beauty is so heavily influenced by photoshop and perfecting of images. Itโs so damaging, like literally what is real anymore? I understand wanting to erase imperfections, Iโve lived with cystic acne for a decade. But the extent and the proliferation of photoshopped beauty images is really hurtful. I want to see what the makeup REALLY does, not what Facetune can make it. If your artistry is solid, it will shine on its own.
Sarah yes! i understand tweakin here and there, but when you go on IG now, EVERY SINGLE IG โinfluencerโ or โmodelโ facetunes their photos HEAVILY. like i always think: โdamn i wish i could look like that or have a body like thatโ but in reality, thatโs not what they look like!! itโs crazy how society has normalized it so much now....

Dont understand why its called riviera like the french riveria, when all of the colors are bright with tropical names. I thought it was gonna be like red, royal blue, soft baby pink, cream, metallic gold, maybe an emerald green idk something more like that that actually resembled the colors that are seen on the Riveria. Felt like the packaging was a catfish lol

They don't have tropical names. The only shadow that does is Bahamas, maybe Palm. The rest all reference the French Riviera and the Mediterranean coastline *or* refer to wealthy people spending a lot of times on boats. Which is what one does on the Riviera if they're not on the beach or in the casinos.

Yeah but the James Charles palette is hard to get your hands on. Every restock online Ulta, in store or Morphe always sells out!!!! So I already lost interest on getting it.
Elizabeth Solis I was fortunate enough to get it at my local ulta on the first launch but I agree. Itโs so frustrating to see how it gets sold out like in 10 minutes everywhere. They need to stop releasing so little palettes each time and restock a huge amount, come on he has 15 million subscribers clearly a lot of people will buy it.
I HATE when companies do that. It makes me lose interest right away. Especially since they knew there would be high demand for it. I'm looking at other brands too.
I have kind of also lost interest. I wanted it so badly when it first came out but since it's so hard to get and it's constantly sold out I'm kind of discouraged. So might just get this instead. Probably easier to get my hands on

Iโve had it for a while now but I would go in store and just randomly check if you have Ulta or morphe near by. I went to my local morphe and yesterday they had a lot in stock without a restock notice online
Literally every time I see a new palette come out, I ask myself โIs it already in my James Charles Morphe palette?โ The answer is almost always yes. *Puts credit card back into wallet*
I just read your comment and you put his palette in a very smart and good perspective because my issue is its size but honestly, looking at it as 'one palette with every color' is smart! ๐

Not to mention that ABH usually expires after 6 months. For comparison, ND palettes last for 24 months. Then compare pan size and cost plus the loss of product due to soft press, fallout, and kickback.... ABH ends up much more expensive than the true luxury brands.

Tati, totally agree. We need fewer releases and better quality. Maybe more time between releases would allow companies to make more interesting and different products. Just my opinion though!
