I think the only reason that the new Elf lipsticks have the dirty names is because it’s supposed to dupe Nars, which always has dirty names.

I absolutely despise when brands sexualize shade names. I’m not a prude, but it’s so weird to me to have to tell someone the shade of my eyeshadow is Fisting or some stupid shit like that 😂😂😂

I use the Halo powder just on top of primer for a natural look. My skin doesn't always need foundation due to good skin care. I have the best skin I've ever had at 70.

Eyebrows are just a bug-a-boo for so many of us. I found micro blading the way for me. I was having a major surgery done and knew I would feel so much better to have brows on. Nurses, women and men, commented on how good my brows looked. I also think we look younger with good brows. You look beautiful.

ELF has really great products & so happy you loved most of them. Their “stay all night” is a great supe for the UD all-nighter & their dewy coconut mist is great too for dewy look.

I’ve used the brow gel in the pot from elf for years and I refuse to use anything else. It never fails me and I’ve been asked if my brows are micro bladed lol. I love this

That end result was amazing! See, we absolutely cannot tell when we’re wearing high-end or budget makeup. Drugstore makeup has improved sooo much within the last 5 years, it’s insane how good it is. There really isn’t any reason to spend all our hard earned dollars on that expensive makeup, making people, and companies, even more rich than they already are! We need to save that money, and spend it on experiences, and trips to make memories. The makeup really does look just as good. I really liked your eyeshadow better after you added that pop of yellow! Such a great look

I love the green Elf grip primer. To me it's a perfect dupe for Milk's grip primer but so much cheaper. I too use it together with Elf's glow liquid filter. I think it's an amazing combo together :)

I feel the same about the raunchy names. It’s definitely too much. Especially because a lot of drugstore makeup is marketed to a younger/teen crowd (especially in tiktok advertising!!!) due to it being more affordable. I walked into Ulta and there was a big ol “O Face” kiosk and it was like great, thanks for that lol. There’s definitely 11-12 year olds going in and out of there for bath bombs and such.

Elf’s lipstick shade Drive ended up being the absolute perfect pinkish nude for me and it took years for me to find a one product nude that evens out my natural lip color effortlessly. I used to have to use a lip liner and a brown lipstick/lip gloss of sorts. I’m just grateful that shade exists and it’s $9 AND it’s an amazing formula.

A good affordable dupe for the Laneige sleep mask is the Pacifica lavender moon overnight lip treatment! I love it! I remember a video of Drew Barrymore taking the lipstick she was wearing and blending it on her cheeks and I think it’s a brilliant idea!

Brow lamination is awesome if you want the look of fuller brows! And I think it will look great on you since your natural brows are not thick, so it will not make them too big after the lamination if you know what I mean 😅(wolverine look).

I started getting my brows laminated, shaped, and tinted last fall, and I LOVE it! You should give it a try Tati! It makes me look like I have way more going on than I do, but still looks natural. It’s one of the things I choose to keep up with and it’s worth it for me. It lasts 6-8ish weeks.

I like that the Elf Halo Glow setting powder is talc free. I think it’s similar to the Rare Beauty one, which is also talc free. I love them both.

the stuff we use for brow laminations is essentially hair relaxer! So, it does dry your brow hairs out, but as long as you condition them daily (after the first 24 hours) you should do fine. :D

I use the halo glow liquid highlighter as actual highlighter after foundation since I’m an oily gal and it is the BEST for that. I know it will last forever too, but it’s dewy without being sticky or lifting foundation or having glitter. I can’t say enough good things about it and people have been asking what foundation I’m using because they think it’s the foundation making me dewy. 😂😂

Love both of those primers, but it’s definitely something you don’t want to overwork into your skin. Swipe it on and go or it does feel uncomfortably sticky. Foundation stays all day and smooths over any weird dry texture I may have going on.

I do the Brow Lamination procedure every day on 7-9 clients, and I feel you could like it but let them know you want them more diagonal than straight up (you can style them after too, but it helps if they're laminated in that direction)
Also, if you can ask for the Mayamy brand, it's the best for softer hairs like yours. Or just come to Macedonia and we'll gladly do it ☺️
