I want to see a video of using high end products with very low end brushes or vice versa to see if brushes make a huge difference, especially with eye shadow!

Please like this idea! I've had it too! Crappy brushes and high end vs cheaper, questionably useful products done with, say Scott's brushes. I wanted to see what he could actually do with dollar store makeup. It would really sell his makeup master classes lol. "I can make crap look like art!"

You should do a full face using only drugstore brushes. Idk but I feel when I watch videos they always use more expensive brushes. I think it would be cool to see a review type thing on drugstore brushes because you donβt see those a lot.
I use a lot of high end make up. I donβt own a ton, but have collected pieces here and there but almost all my brushes are drugstore lol. Would be cool to see!
Katze Farron I love a lot of ELF Brushes. Just got to Target, theyβll have some out you can feel first
Ecotools is a really good brush brand at the drugstore. Ive gotten mine from Walmart and the brushes are SO soft and also not too expensive.
Boogie G I understand that she likes those brushes but out of convenience it would be nice to have her review say target or Walmart brand brushes...
Check our the Walmart equate brushes. I love them over some of my better brushes!

Yes, with the top coat too! I never ever go to salons, heard too many horror stories about hygiene and infections. Sally Hansen is a godsend!

Something I've found that really helps to prolong my polish life and keep it from chipping is to make sure you're "wrapping the tip" with polish. So when you're doing it yourself, bring the polish all the way up and around the tips of your nails and paint just a little bit of the underside. Works wonders for me!
I would love to see a skin care routine video! I feel like I don't super know how to get all my makeup off and still be gentle to my skin π
If you donβt mind a recommendation. A double cleanse with a balm or oil cleanser & then a water-based cleanser to finish .

The gel bubbled because it was applied too thickly. It doesnβt cure completely and causes bubbles and wrinkles. A good base coat will help chipping. Orly Bonder is a great one. Glisten and Glow Top Coat works well.

Yep or it wasn't cured properly. Darker polishes can sometimes take longer to cure if it's very pigmented. X

And i LOVE the Sally Gel 2 step set! You dont need a light at all either. I chip my nails easily because i do a lot with my hands too! This usually gives me up to a week of no chips!

I really like the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel as a top coat, even if I'm using regular polish - it won't chip, because it's very flexible. I love it!

Girl yes. I had a similar nail salon story. They shaved down my entire nail SO thin it hurt to get things out of my purse. Never again. For 3 months I was religious about keeping them as short as humanly possible, taking biotin, using tail tek and Trader Joeβs balm 5000 times a day. 3 months later and now 5 my nails are long and hard as rocks. No more gel or powder for me. Done.

A drugstore bronzer I recommend is the Maybelline City Bronzer. I LOVE it !!!! β€β€β€
Ulta has dip nails. you can do like acrylic nails yourself at home, and don't have to grind your nails down. It lasts forever!
Ashley's Lash Corner like actually nail polish...because I use the same color most of the time and that might work.
@@breeanne1974 no is hard like acrylic nails. You paint on a base coat dip it in powder and file it so it's smooth and then put a top coat. They are hard and last like acrylic nails do but you only have to file the shine off your nail instead of grinding it down

I love the Makeup Forever Pro Fusion bronzer in 20M! Has a lot of similarities to the Butter bronzer -- satin finish, easy to blend, not patchy or too pigmented!
Yes to seche vite topcoat! I work at a nail salon and we use it at the salon it's sooo good!
1. It should Not take 45 mins to soak off gel polish.
2. There is no need to grind anything off. I get them of in 10 to 15 mins and then GENTLY scrape the excess and resoak 5 mins if needed. Sounds like your salon is rushing its clientele out the door for more money. Find a new salon that will care for your nails and NOT your money

I honestly think it depends on the polish and the condition the polish is in when it is going to be soaked off. If itβs already lifting, itβll be probably 15 MAX. If itβs still perfectly on, itβll take about 30-45 minutes for them to come off.

100% agree, Iβm an ex nail tech I wore acrylics for 4 years and gel polish for 6 my nails are perfect, it kinda sounded like a NSS salon from what she was saying x
I think you should file off the top coat, then soak off the polish. But i just file off everything with a nail drill. It takes less time, and if you know what you're doing, it actually is better for your nails than acetone. I never touch the nail surface, just file down to the base coat
