The blush trio was called โCheekmateโ as a play on words from the chess term โcheckmateโ - not matte. That would explain why it was shiny and not what you thought. Words are hard. ๐

I don't wear a lot of makeup. Why does "Cheekmate" inherently mean a shiny blush as opposed to "Checkmate" meaning a matte blush?
Here in Australia, a mate is a friend. Being Korean products, I wouldn't be placing a lot of creative intelligence on their use of English. Although definitely not matte.

@@brendaanliker4254 I waited awhile for mine on the official launch but it's so worth the wait. In her last video she was saying that the December date on when the palettes will go out is kind of like a buffer date should anything go wrong but they are expecting them to go out sooner,so hopefully later in November or early December!

I haven't even had the chance to use mine yet but I did manage to get my order in on launch day and I just cannot describe how utterly beautiful it is in person when you open it for the first time. I've watched a whole lot of videos on looks with Tati's palette and I am convinced you can make your eye look as polished and sedate or bold and elegant for evenings/special occasions as you would like.
I am torn between her's and jeffree's, can only afford one, but both have amazing reviews
Waterlilly 1 i work at an office and they can ask for relatively cOnSeRvAtIvE makeup and i know thatโll get 10000x more use out of tatiโs palette than i ever will the other. itโs genuinely so easy to use and with one or two shades you get a whole look
Tati's pallatte is amazing! I use it literally every single day before work. It always looks stunning and I get so many compliments. The shadows are pigmented, creamy, and blend effortlessly. The tones are perfection..tati has an eye for tone like no other. The glitters are exquisite and those sequin shades are everything. Get It! You won't regret it. I can't wait for her to launch more. I will buy every pallatte because her formula and textures are my favorites.
You have GOT to name a pallet or something from Tati beauty "Holy Smokes!" THAT is ssoooooo Tati! And you also need to have Little Logan pick a color to put in a pallet and call it "SOOOO PPUUUUURRRTTY!"

Victoria Small I also have small dachshunds and I have to stay outside with them because the hawks will circle my yard waiting for the moment Iโm not there. They will literally stalk my dogs.
Even though birds will get there asses kicked by the dog once they scoop them up so they probably quickly drop them so they can attack them while their hurt, it's awful to even imagine...

you can always use a glitter glue first then press on the glitters with your finger :)
I don't like using my fingers for glitter I use a tight packed tiny angled brush and not a single glitter fall out! you just have to go smaller sections. Hope that helped!

I donโt have her palette but maybe try one of those sponge brushes from the 90s lol. They actually pack on glitter well usually
Use a wet packing brush! Do not use it like a regular shadow!

Omg. When you started talking about the anxiety that comes with having your blood pressure taken at the doctor... I do have that! I always start freaking out!!
There's actually a term for it. It's called "white coat anxiety" or something like that

I had preeclampsia during my last pregnancy so my BP was always elevated and if it was up too high I would get sent to labor and delivery, and after my baby was born, I had high after my 1-week checkup and they sent me to the ER and made a huge deal out of it. Ever since then I've had terrible anxiety whenever I get my BP taken. ๐คฆ๐พโโ๏ธ
It's normal, no worries. That's why we take it more than once if someone's nervous ๐

Tati, Iโm just watching this ..... please be careful with your little dog ... hawks are a real threat! We have to keep our small Boston Terrier on a leash when we are walking on our property. We have watched hawks swoop down and grab some of our large breed chickens .... super sad and can happen quickly.
On a side note, as a nurse, you are correct โWhite Coat Hypertensionโ itโs a real thing and makes it hard to get an accurate BP reading. Heads up though, there are new studies that are finding that folks who experience WhiteCoat Hypertension, are more likely to develop
full blown hypertension in the future. Itโs a good idea to test your BP at home with an accurate cuff and keep track of your levels (try to make it a routine, around the same time of day, before coffee, etc) . Then when you go to see your doctor you can show them what your levels are on a daily basis. Hope itโs helpful info, said with love, Xoxoxo.
