They don't. UTI or Wyotech will teach you the basics if you don't know squat. I find that hard to believe that people actually interested in this stuff haven't even tried on their own. It's trial and error, especially when you don't have the proper tools. Also factory service manuals are gold and will help you, they are expensive but attainable for the average punter. You can do everything you need to do with a $99 Craftsman Mechanics Tool set, only need to buy say a socket for the front suspension nut or a hex to remove the rear seats. Power Tools speed things up considerably, lifts will save your back...

hi I'm a big fan now, watching you from Saudi Arabia,,, I really really appreciate and understand everything you went through, me and my brother have two Bentley's and we kinda go through the same thing you did but for alot less issues in our little home garage , and its not that you have no idea of what you where doing actually you did great since this is the first time on this unbelievably complicated engine, they are so many stupid and very complicated things for no reason but to rip our pockets plus to complicated things to one working on it, even if its Bentley them self, its chaos, I can name so many things but I’ll give, one example is the plastic hoses for vacuum suction that can be damaged from heat or melt at any moment, causeing a numerous of dashboard melfunction without giving you any idea where to look for, and they are located over the engine but unreachable without lowering the engine, I mean it blowed my mind, but they fixed it with the new models using an aluminum hoses that can withstand heat, but still some many sensors and other stuff that cannot be reached without lowering the engine, I love Bentley but no one will ever understand it unless they do what you did great job man great job I was so happy when I saw your videos.

I can then do stuff that I have the tools for and send it to a specialist or dealer as I can ask do you have X tool to reinstall part Y? I also know how long it should take and have paid them to do just that specific job once I have done the easy/labourios work. But this is why he spent 4 days removing it incorrectly #boltshear and will guess at reinstalling the w12.

Not trying to be a hater, just an opinion, but I got hooked on your channel when you first got the Lamborghini Gallardo. The uploads were fairly regular and in order. Lately I have been losing interest in this channel because there seems to be no "focus" for lack of a better word. Uploads seem to be all over the place, different cars or projects without finishing the previous project.
To me it's just hard to follow along, kind of like reading a couple chapters of a book then switching to a different book before you have finished, then before that book is finished you go back to reading your first book. It's all just a lot more complicated than it needs to be imo. I like what you did with the Gallardo, its kinda like what goonsquad does. They get a project and they go to town on it till it is finished, very easy to follow along and entertaining.
Again not hating, love the work you do, just wish it was easier to follow along, put the focus into one project and make some progress on it!

I'd check the PCV system, as with the Audi 2.7 bi-turbos in S4 B5's & A6 C5's the hose cracks, and the IC fill with oil!! Definitely get a catch can, might have to relocate battery to back, if not already! Get the EGT modules from SID Motorsport in Poland, they are a known fault.
As a result you'll need to change all head seals & plugs, and crank seals too, as they blow out with PCV fail.
