What always amazes me about this kind of cars.. somewhere out there there's a person who once started this with good intentions. Who has probably spent a fair amount of money on gettting a donor car, the kit, and so forth. And then he started building. At some point they were thinking they were doing the right thing, and actually making a nice car.
A lot of hours have gone into this, and whoever this dude was, he was thinking he was actually building a nice car.

The funny thing is a friend of mine at the last job I worked (over 10 years ago) showed me a website of this place in NY that did these types of builds - lambos, Bentleys, etc on a Hyundai Genesis platform 😂😂😂 for the low low price of about $60K 😂😂😂

Timmydog1977 if it were me I’d rather see it being resurrected in some way. It was already
“Ruined” when it was rear ended. I had an old 91 Civic that was totaled when it was rear ended, but we took it and drove the hell out of it in a field until it died. It lasted about 3 summer of “Rally cross” until the engine was so tired it wouldn’t start anymore. It made me happier to see it died like that than it would have to see it get fixed.

I’m watching and I’m more than happy it’s getting a new lease of life. I built it to be a tribute over a replica. I did have spacers and different wheels that made it look much better but removed them before insurance took for salvage. My pay out after the f150 rear ended me more than covered my costs for building and I was about to sell it anyway to go to the UK

I remember seeing these in kit car magazines as a youngster back in the 80's and 90's - the properly done ones that looked right were fairly expensive and while they were also based off of a Fiero, the frame was stretched. You had to cut the the whole frame in half and weld in an extra 6-12" or so for the higher quality body kits to fit.

I say make “Flearoy” out of it. Throw a Chinese turbo on it sticking way out the top. And add a few bars for a roll cage.
It's pretty easy to get power out of the 2.8 v6 there's a stroker kit that bumbs it to 3.4 lt build the Bottom end and throw the boost at it probably surprise the crap out of them
