BEFORE YOU COMMENT, KEEP IN MIND: The hood that was scratched was NOT my newly-painted hood. It was the hood I originally got with the car, painted by the movie studio. If you notice any orange peel or imperfections, it gives you a great look at just how bad the paint job was.
i have a question , how long is the expected life span of the coating ? etc. discoloration you know that kind of stuff

So honest question, how much does it weigh? Like does it double the weight of the paint on the car? Since your a partner in this now can you direct me to where I might be able to find more info on this stuff?

I had to build up the courage to watch this by first learning how to replace the U-joint in my Ford Ranger from some guy on KRplus who never shows his face. You heard of him?
True story, your Hummer video made me go out and buy my dream truck. A $1000 '07 Ford Ranger 4.0L with the 5-speed manual. I really hope that this KRplus guy knows what he's talking about, because I have about $3K worth of parts coming from Amazon to replacing everything minus the axles. Come to think of it I should check to see if you have a rear differential rebuild video. Otherwise I would have to resort to a mans final step and that's reading the included instructions that came with the kit. The thought of that just gave me the same feeling as when I read the title of Freddy's video :(

Your clearly havent watched the vin wiki leaks about that car it has been damn near around the world and dissasembled and appraised by like 3 different mechanics and has sat dissasembled in like 5 different shops idk if you know but you can't even get a fuse diagram for these handmade machines that's why the tire change at the dealer cost like 20k or something you have to pay to play it would take him and at least 2 other investors to even get it looking like a bugatti again let alone wired and running with all electronics functioning if the guy would have never thought of insurance fraud shed still be here tragic
I think Ed Bolian should be the first person you let drive the car besides you. Getting his seal of approval especially considering he notified you of the cars existence and also saw the car before you worked on it would be really amazing.

How does it cope long term with UV? I hope it doesn't turn amber long term. Looks amazing anyways.
It's very UV resistant, and it also has clear coat on top, so no worries about yellowing.

@@Michael.Talbot I'm not suggesting that. But I am suggesting that the clear coat on top of the protective layer will chip, it may not damage the color layer but it will definitely be noticeable. Paint protection films have a self healing top coat, meaning any minor scratches or impact damage to the top coat heals itself and perfect again. It's a huge reason we do full cars, especially dark colors, they look brand new forever and never need to be buffed. They've been trying to push wet spray protection for over ten years, it either washes off, doesn't protect worth a damn, or looks terrible. Idk about this stuff specifically but I'm skeptical as to whether or not that sprayed protection layer in as durable as extruded polyurethane.
As much as I like watching your videos Freddy, I LOVE the music you find for you sequences. I know you get it from NCS usually, but you’re really good at weeding through all the music they offer to find the right piece every time. Keep it up man!

I used to install Ceramic Pro (the best coating in the game) and I did a Audi that ended up being inside a shop that caught fire and I was able to easily buff it out and make it look brand new
Awesome! This is next level, way better than any ceramic coating in terms of durability, and you can even put ceramic coating on top!
