Life hack: By the gaspump picture by your gas meter is a small arrow. It points to the side the gas filler is on. It's true for almost all cars.
this is true on neither my SAAB 900 SE nor my GEO Metro, and they have the filler on opposite sides, it vexes me when I change cars for the season, other things that vex me having to get used to the location of the ignition again. Still can't wait for summer to roll back around so I can drive my tinker toy

Honestly, I kinda got a bit emotional when that garage door opened. A drunk driver totaled my dream car on Christmas Eve about 5 years ago. It was the worse day ever (for reason more than loosing my car as well). It’s amazing how great cars can make you feel.

Tavarish has the exact Red 1999 3000gt vr-4 twin turbo that is my dream car with the Big spoiler. But im happy with my Dodge Stealth r/t NA (3000gt sl) lol and its decently quick. At least its faster than my friends Brz and faster than my friends 2003 Eclipse GT.

ricardo aguirre Texas or not, if a car sits and there is any moisture in the air the rotors will have some surface rust on them.
This is awesome to see. I sold my S14 after my friend blew it up and after years of chasing it got it back and my build has been put on hold now. The car has a longer store and is so sentimental to me it brings me joy just to see sitting.
Nobody is going to probably see this because this video is two years old, but I just recently bought a 3000gt. One of the cars I've always wanted, my whole life. That moment when he lifted the garage door is how I felt when I first saw my car rolling up. Priceless.

@@Strunz0 They do look sick! The design is overall pretty unique. Also think Mitsubishi had a knack for sharks or somethin. Cause the front end of the 3000GT, and 2nd Gen Eclipse looked kind of like a shark to me.

My first ever car I bought was a 3000GT.
I bought it like 70 miles away from my home, a really rough example, AC didn't work, etc, it had a sports clutch and I had no clue how to drive stick, it was 9PM at night. Fun time.
I was looking for mods and inspiration and found freddies car and knew my dream car from then on would be a 3000GT and used his car for inspiration of what I wanted mine to be. From then I found his channel and ended up loving his content and stuck around since then.
I sold it, but shortly after regretted it. I still have its VIN and I hope one day I can find it again and buy it back like freddy did.
@@ViolentMLG I really hope you can too! I've always wanted a 3000GT as well, though I don't know if I'll ever get one. I still haven't owned anything that nice, but I'll keep trying to play catch up. I did manage to get an AW11 MR2, which was always a car I really wanted, but it doesn't run. Once I get it going though, I'm not selling it! I also got an Eclipse GSX which is like the baby 3000GT. Too bad it's an utter basket case, but I'll keep loving it anyways. Good luck finding your 3000GT, or at least one that makes you happy. :)

Me personally, I really haven't worked on crap except like cars in auto class back in school - maybe few things outside of that. I did ace that class but now im just not in a position where I can work (no proper power tools, materials..), and I do want to!
The mid MK 4 Supra is like my dream car but I might not get one once it's too late.
We definitely have a similar story with the 3000gt Vr4. If you ever need any info on anything for them let me know! I’ve own a total of 4! A car hated by some but loved by others.

Interesting. I had a 94 Stealth R/T (non-turbo) and while it had an awesome design, it was pretty crappy mechanically. I get that the Turbo is a different experience, but I don't miss that car at all. I wish I had been able to trade it for a MR2 or Base Supra of that gen.

Look at gas gauge, you'll see an arrow or a pump pointing to the side of the car were the tank is. If it's a pump then the handle of the pump will indicate the filling side.

I got a 97 850 turbo volvo and it does not have an arrow on it, it is even on the left side of my dash but yet the gas tank is on the right
I own a 95 VR4. I have spent the last 3 years replacing parts, fixing leaks, all in all, taking care of the mechanical side of the car and solving all its problems. Hopefully this coming year I can finally start with the cosmetics. I love that thing!

If it's garaged and it doesn't get humid in it they won't rust. I stripped paint off of my DSM to bare metal and it still isn't rusty 2 years later.
Grinders and Gears Still, it’s hard to say this was abandoned. If this was abandoned then nearly every Ferrari is abandoned since the vast majority of them just sit in garages undriven.

Not gonna lie, this video hit some feels. My first car was a base 3000gt, and I've mourned that loss since the day I sold it. Absolutely fantastic cars despite all of their downfalls. Seems only previous or current owners really appreciate these.

Dented oil pan im calling it. These cars are notorious for spun bearings due to oil starvation from the pick up tube being damaged by somebody trying to jack the car up from the oil pan. The pick up tube only sits about 3mm from the bottom and can easily be damaged from any small dent.

As soon as you walked into the shop, the very first thing that I noticed is the black Impala SS. That's a car after my heart right there. I currently own a caprice classic, that my grandparents bought brand new in 1994. I fell in love with that car the first time I saw it at just 6 years old, and it was my inheritance when both of them had passed. Sadly, the car had a run in with a flatbed semi trailer and has sat in my garage, untouched, for the last 4 years. I think Its time that I get to work on her and do all the things that I've dreamed about doing to that car.
Idk if you remember but My friends and I met you on the dustball rally in Santa Fe New Mexico In a parking garage of a hotel. It was super cool seeing the car in person and hearing the story directly from you. Not to mention the up coming projects you told us about.

I am very late to the game but I am glad you got this back. The Dodge Stealth Twin-Turbo/3000gt VR-4 is my unicorn car. I had a 93 Twin-Turbo and first the ECM went out then it got wrecked so I got a 93 3000gt VR-4 and then it threw a rod. I love this car but I can never own one so I am glad to see you have the same interest.

Glad you found your old dream car, I too sold my virgin 92 VR4 when I had to move. Everything on my car was stock and even the active aero worked. Mine was the Glacier Pearl White. Love those cars but hated to work on it, dented oil pans and the timing belt tensioner was a pain in the butt.

I had a '97 that I totalled while driving to base. Spent a week in the hospital. I miss it so much. I would love to get another one.
My step father had a VR4 back in the day and he's never found a car after he sold it that has captured him in the same way. He's been thru a Vette a Viper Camaro SS Nissan Z and they just don't do the same things for him. Emotion plays a big part in what we all think is "best" so I don't blame Tavarish for this one!
