Unless the shop is doing the work for the exposure. If they can afford to eat it it would be a smart business decision.
@@Skwisgar2322 When the owner says its going to look better then oem (No paint job ever looks better then from factory) you already know this is for exposure only. They will either not charge him or charge him very little.

Dude, in future to get rid of the lines when you’re filming.
Put it into manual mode and make your shutter speed double your frame rate. So if you’re recording at 24fps set your shutter to 1/50 and use your ISO and aperture to control the amount of light. It’s called “180° shutter” if you want to look up any KRplus videos about it
jon doe LED lights have a refresh rate, if the cameras shutter speed doesn’t line up with it, it causes banding. That’s just a fact

Juan is a true professional and a total character. I know nothing about the painting process but I've learned to truly appreciate what a monumental task he took on with the Lamborghini. Great video Juan and Freddy!

The paint itself was $1300 dollar per gallon and they needed 2 according to his instagram. After that it got 7 layers of clearcoat. So just for paint alone that would be $2600 already. That's about what it takes to paint a regular car with labor included. But he did shout out the paint manifacturer on instagram so odds are there are some sponsorships/discounts in play.

Make sure to get that clear bra and ceramic coated immediately! Protect the integrity of that paint with every dollar you got!
You gotta wait about a month to clear bra or seal the paint with any sort of coating. The paint will continue to off gas for several weeks.

wheeln 24/7 he helps once for a little bit and he gets all “WE are going to paint the car” on us as if HE has been there working on the car the whole time.
@@kumakendo yeah and the whole time it's been there he's basically been on vacation cuz he hasn't shown us any progress on his other cars. Rebuit that supra and hasn't seemed to drive it since the day they did all that. Might as well sell it to someone who will live it.

Amazing video, bought back fond memories of having my car painted, the best bit for me (other than seeing it finished) is seeing all the shuts etc done with the contrast of the basecoat to the primer. Makes me want to paint my van now.

Now *THAT* is how you paint a car! So I'm sure I'm way low on the hourly rate but 600 hours at say $100 an hour.... 60 Grand!
And I believe it took every one of those 600 hours that thing was mess they had their work cut out for them taking all that movie

Yeah at $50 an hour at 500 it would cost $25,000. At $75 an hour for 600 hours it would cost $45,000. I'm guessing it would cost over $50,000.
After the wet sand and final finishing that paint will be stunning. Now about that crispy Ferrari....
Looking good! I was happy to see them using an anti-static gun -- btw not a hydrostatic gun. A lot of shops do not know about them. The gun creates a static-free surface - nothing is attracted to it. Fewer imperfections, less cutting/buffing, plus metal flake lays down much better.

It's on another level. The Gallardo was a spot repair, this is a restoration.
