I watched every episode of that white Lambo build. A lot of work went in to that one for sure. I really enjoyed the fact that you did most of the work yourself in your own home garage.

I'd like to show you the '01 Accord section of my garage.

Replace any/all “auto reset able” fuses. Sounds like your top starts - gets going - senses too much load and trips the fuse. Might be a simple cheap repair. Edit - these resettable fuses or links can be faulty yet partially functional. They may let the top move initially but then trip without a real issue being present.

That white lambo is the build that led me to your channel. I remember when it first really drove on the channel, it was incredible

This video gave me such a good nostalgic feeling. Working on the White Lambo would take you back to your roots. Put the feeling and the channel back to where it came from before it completely went everywhere and nowhere. Everywhere except to what the core subscribers really loved about your channel... So, please start as soon as possible on that project (or the Bentley). Just film and talk about what you're doing during the wrenching instead of talking about what should be done or which (new) project you are planning to do in every video you post. Because on cars like these, you need to wrench, every day...

I loved that Shmee video. Driving your cars and you enjoying them should be a big part of the experience. The noise and smiles generated by the big red Lambo (tried to spell Merciellago, not a clue) was so watchable. It was two people who genuinely were having a great time.

You can put some really really strong magnets on the inside of you rearbumper. Put some on the rear of your license plate with some glue, cover it with some soft cloth material, and you're good to go. Even switch it really fast and easy with a show plate.

Have pictures of the Orange Lambo from SEMA and at the time had no idea the story behind it, other than it was a f&f car.

Honestly seeing the twin turbo lambo after watching the entire build series it feels so much more special than seeing anothed youtuber buying another huracan. Love the channel man, you've come such a long way

For your taillights you have everything there! Make one descent set out of the existing ones and the broken ones! A good custom lighting shop could do that easily !

The top could be low voltage. Make sure nothing is hitting the lock of the top as well and if not hydrologic fluid , use some silicone on the outside of hydrologic cylinders, doors includes.

You can put magnets on the backside off the bumper and on the backside off the numberplate. Works very well and the plate wont Fall off. There is a Company in Germany who makes complete set, Its called Magsign

I work a block away from Dallas Performance...the cars they build are insane.
They test drive them past my shop pretty frequently and I can hear they're dyno screaming when they're tuning.

I remember seeing on one of the TV car shows a company that can fully disassemble a modern headlight cluster, modify the internals and put all back together OEM style. Some kind of hot knife to remove the lense from the main unit.
Broken tabs could be resolved by 3D printing the casing? Cheaper than new items? Maybe?

Maybe the roof stops because of a bad valve in the hydraulic system. Some of the logic for opening the roof might be done by sequence valves. Check the cylinders positions when it stops. If a pair are bottomed out the pressure might be directed to open a valve for the next step but the valve is stuck because fire. Thanks for the great vids, good luck.

Sounds like it could be your convertible top motor. I had a similar problem where my top would work all the way except for when lowering into the top compartment, this was on a bmw, but all convertibles are somewhat similar. Check the motor, make sure it’s not hopping.

I have a 350Z convertible and a common problem with the complicated convertible top mechanism is that the motors that operate the top can fail. It sounds like one of the motors in the Lamborghini Top mechanism maybe failing. Also check all the relays to make sure they are all working as well

F8 Lambo: Just weather strip the gap and skip the replacement windshield (whatever the caulking is called the window installers use). Find wiper arm covers instead.
Keep the rear Taillights. 8k for OEM? Nah, the black ones look fine. unless you plan to have that car museum charge for photo ops for a Tail light fund. I hope theres plenty of roped off poles and giant DO NOT TOUCH SIGNS around the car because that bad boy is gonna get scratched by a schmuck.

You can use the stock tail light housings and put the lights in, use a heat gun or a oven on 200c to open the tail lights, then you can take the iner of the light and put it in the stock ones using epoxy if it doesn't have the clips

“Cold start in my Lambo”........in Florida.

Roof issue could be the hydraulic motor. If Audi based part (some Gallardo parts are the same as RS4), then the motor magnets can go - symptoms are roof will release, open slightly, then stop. Easy fix, just had my RS4 roof motor reconditioned for £75...

Hey Tavarish, the light situation on the car if you have LEDs you need to get resistors for the lights. I own a VAG car also that's picky about the bulbs and I converted mine to LED.

Safelight is the best for windshield replacement. Samcrac replaced his Ferrari windshield and they brought an OEM Ferrari... really good prices too man

On that Gallardo roof, is it by chance like an Audi/VW sunroof/auto-window where the switch has to be held until it has done one full cycle for adaptation before it works one-touch?

Tavarish, you should watch GuitarmageddonZL1. He twin turboed a ZL1 Camaro. It made 1000 wheel hp or something like that. It ran 8's in the quarter mile. He didn't need race gas or E85 to do it either. He ran 93 octane pump gas. You were talking about using different gas but I'd look into doing whatever he did that way you don't have to go anywhere special to get gas. It makes it much more drivable.

Yo Tav, do some looking into doing or having those tail lights repaired. Welding plastic is super easy but I am guessing, there is a company out there somewhere that reconditions lights.

Hey Tavarish, you might not want to say publicly, but when is the million dollar show car heading to CA? If it's after early April, you should bring both lamborghinis out to the exotic car show in Celebration, FL. It's always an AMAZING event, tons of exotics, even some hypercars. If you can make it, you should get in touch with the organizers, and they can probably get you a specific spot, maybe roped off it you want.
