YESSSSSS! I FINALLY HAVE DEALER-LEVEL DIAGNOSTICS FOR MY LAMBO! A few MVP viewers sent out their multiplexer units, I got a new (old) computer, and I had to cross all my fingers and toes, but it WORKS! Now I can reset the top, air bag light, and do anything a dealer can do! This is the best news I've had in weeks!

Since you are leaving the brakes blue maybe that transmission cover should be that blue too?
He should change the calipers to match the transmission. Black with gold signature or gold with black signature. I think that would look oem vs the shade of blue that's already on.

exactly what I was going to say...would tie it together and be just subtle enough, plus blue works well opposite the gold (opposite end of the color wheel - speaking as a designer)

Do you know what would be cool? If Tavarish become a character in the next NFS franchise, where instead of getting a beginners car you get totalled or malfunctioning cars to fix and then race for better parts.

You should paint the transmission cover in blue instead, matching the brake clippers! Gold being just for show rather than the functional heat-spreading tape is just too much, IMO...

Have fun with the Bentley motor swap. They changed a few things with the engine mainly with the secondary air injection system/vacuum lines in either 07 or 08 I can’t remember off the top of my head. So I hope you bought a like year engine. I have dropped a couple W12 Bentley engines before and they are a super tight fit in that engine bay and it’s easier to drop the engine and trans as an assembly out the bottom. Bentley also sells an engine out service kit with fluids and replacement bolts for all the torque to yield bolts that should be replaced. Also, I HIGHLY recommend you replace the starter and vacuum hoses while you have the engine out as you will need to drop the engine again if they fail.
He should just throw a Toyota Century engine in there for shits and giggles plus that 1gz-fe V12 platform is a lot cheaper than the W12 or he should LS Swap it With twin turbos he has enough space under that hood for anything

@@connoisseuroftigolbitts no. Im not against Frankenstein swaps in track vehicles but for DD road cars its not my thing. If you want an LS buy a Camero. The unique motors of certain cars is what makes them interesting.
Put a twin turbo v8 in it, save a lot of space and headaches
@Daver G he said to rebuild everything if the engine and trans is pulled? That's a given with any car build. I am not interested in a Bentley build if he is just throwing in another motor. That defeats the whole purpose of building a Bentley. Im not even a purist, its that there are so many LS swaps on youtube that something like that is kind of boring now.

I love the Garage updates. My preference would the SL55 AMG first (as it’s the only one I driven and could ever afford), then the Bentley (because Tyler has done some brilliant videos highlighting its features. Impressive!). And the the (much loved) Lambo - no real rush. Thanks for the update and Thanks to my fellow Canadian, for being kind enough to help you out some.

You should take a voltmeter, set it to measure amps and take off one lead to the battery and WHILE THE CAR IS OFF AND DO NOT TRY AND START IT (or you will blow up your voltmeter), hook up the amp meter in series and see if the car has some sort of parasitic drain. may be an electrical problem. sometimes it doesn't happen right away but it doesn't hurt to check.
*also make sure to close the doors, shut off any lights and the key far away from the car. the car has to be 100% off for this to work. wait like 10 min after shutting everything off to make sure.
use a cheap mulitmeter incase the paracitic draw is too large. you can fry the mulitmeter id over 10 amps for long. maybe add a low amp fuse just incase.
what happens if you do start it? You wrote some part of your comment in caps, makes me think there's some danger :) I'm clueless with electricity.
You might draw more amps than the voltmeter can handle and blow a fuse on the voltmeter or the voltmeter itself if its not fused.
nick paz don’t forget to shut the doors, wait 10 minutes give or take, and make sure the key is out of range. Some systems with wireless entry will draw power when the key is nearby.

@@allrimmedout errrrr. no. you use a fluke 87 with the "peak/min max function" so you can see how much the min and max draw is. It has a fuse inside that will blow if cranking the car happens

Again, mad props for taking on the rebuild of the Lambo. Figuring out the hackery of prior custom work is no small task for any make/model.
Transmission cover needs to be blue, matching the calipers.

Gokul k f355 manual spider from Tyler Hoover, which was involved in a fire from engine when was being driven, car burnt out from the engine bay, so as the interior.
It needs a lot of work, and tavarish is trying to succeed on it.
as well as keeping it for personal fleet.

Great update, I love seeing a new Tavarish video in my updates! I think you get a hard time from some regarding this Lambo, the knowledge and parts are not easy to get and you have done a sterling job to date. And FWIW I think the diff colour should match the brake calipers.

Advice from an electrical perspective: Run a wire connecting all the ground points together. Don't depend on the car itself to be the ground "wire."
Hungry Guy is this just to remove a excessive amount of random ground points throought the whole car to having them all localized to 1 location? So it’s just cleaner ? Or is there a specific reason for this, just curious - also does it have anything to do with a grounding loop? apparently my car has that because when I charge my phone and play music out of it it got super static and broke up a lot lol
@@filipnine because the battery has a ground wire to the frame, and electrical components throughout the car will ground to the frame as well to reduce the amount of wiring and not have to run a ground all the way back to the battery from every component. He's saying you can run one looping ground wire to each chassis point to be sure you don't have any spotty connections. Valid? Yes, but not needed imo

This was great like every other video! I love seeing the progress on the lambo Freddy! You should do a video of how to detail a leather interior and cover cleaning/conditioning/steam cleaning leather so it looks brand new. Gotta have your lambo interior as nice as the exterior after all!

Loving the update! Tavarish I would suggest starting early on looking for wheels and tires for the Viper as apparently (according to Doug) the wheels and tires are a very special size and difficult to find. So source them early as a tip!

Big fan of the channel! I am also big on DYI. You should do a mini-series on welding/painting, similar to the ceramic coating. Welding/painting are both easy to learn, difficult to master, and learning it on the channel would be great to watch. Setup a cheap painting booth in the shop and paint the Viper yourself! :D

aging wheels just recently refurbished his shop and DIY added AC to it with some pretty budget friendly split units. Don't know if your lease allows for punching holes in walls, but it would be a pretty luxury upgrade.
