The fact that the paint barely had any visible damage upon washing was mind-blowing, the stuff is insanely resilient
i think this video was kinda setup
I was mostly mentioning the resilience and chemical properties of paint, regardless of whether the video was actually setup or not. Science has come a long way, over waxing the paint repeatedly. But yeah, it does seem somewhat setup, no credit lost to tavarish for undertaking such an enormous task anyway@@user-ph4wi4sy2p

The excavator operator was excellent and very gentle, he felt the slight resistance and just barely did any damage.
He know the value of this car, a fully restored or maintained first gen range costs more than new one, bt this is 3 gen
LOL,,,,NO! As an excavation contractor for over 35 years I can tell you the operator did not treat that car with any care. We have to dig up existing utilities like gas, power, water, sewer and telecommunications all the time with out damaging them. There was no reason to hit such a big and easy to deal with object.

Not that simple unless you have a degree in computers as these models have their own annoying expensive ways. You need a special diagnostic tool and a ream of A4 + two cartridges for the inkjet.

Rover Group was later (2000) sold by BMW to Ford Motor Company. - At this point the engine supply for 'the New' (designed by BMW) 2003 model year Range Rover, consisted of Beemer engines. This supply of engines lasted until the 2005 model year...
Were the BMW engines actually reliable?
@@AnusIntruder - Absolutely, German engines usually are (reliable). - I still own a 1999 Range Rover (P38 bought pre-owned in 2002) with the British made engine and the entire vehicle with Bosch electronics was/is fantastic ! - The main issues with that 'new style' BMW 2003 RR, were with it's driveline (some diff issues) and the new version air suspension (mounting points weren't as durable as the prior RR P38 model). Having worked at Land Rover during that period, the BMW engines basically had no issues. With the care & attention I've provided over the years, my 1999 P38 engine, driveline AND air suspension are all original & still functioning flawlessly...
@Robroy1985 and TATA sold a good chunk of to the Chinese. Range Rover has been spread from owner more times than an STD in a whorehouse.

@@y2ktube the 2.5 bmw diesel in the 38 was shockingly bad .it was gutless .even chipped up it was useless ,and the fuel consumption was terrible for a diesel.
@@AnusIntruder Just got rid of my 2000 BMW 740 with that exact same engine in it after 300,000 miles. Once you replace timing chain guides and maintain the cooling system they last forever.

Range rover in my country including the category of luxury vehicles, why? Because the tax is very large especially if the vehicle is cbu/assembled outside not only cars but uncluding motorbikes that start from 300cc to 2000cc for their own cars starting with 3000cc they are already subjected to very high taxes especially now cars are appearing again hybrid/phev is also subject to burdensome taxes
