Have you seen the video where someone goes over the undercarriage? Its pretty rough. Its a drive it and don't ask questions car.
Don't do a turbo man. That's just not right. This car deserves better. Do a full OEM restoration on most components, leaving the block as is.

I feel like modifying this car is borderline desecration, I'd leave it stock, maybe even try to get it to 2 million miles, or at least see how far it will go without major malfunction and then when repairing it mod it

It has done everything that proves its durability.
Now it can prove its toughness, is it able to survive Tavares horsepower hunger?
Be stellar cool about some turbo upgrades, it will be very interesting to see what will happen.

I see how you could hate on some of the things/ querks/ bad jokes tavarish does, but I think the other Florida guy “Samcrac” has him beat by a landslide. That guy is annoying at cringey, ultra low class thought process, and can never get to the point.... tavarish does have some knowledge in dealing with bs issues..
regardless, I feel like if I was having trouble with nightmare car issues , it would be these type of guys that would be volunteering to help out & get their hands dirty for the sake of learning/ understanding how to fix an issues when everyone else would be like “I’m out”. Lol

I am NOT a Lexus fan at all, BUT what Freddie wants to do is SO WRONG, this car deserves to simply be maintained, it deserves a very high end detailing, serious clay-bar, buff, glaze, ceramic coat. deep interior clean, refinished rims, new shocks,tires, under-hood cleaning.
Theres no clearcoat left to detail, it needs full paintjob.

I’m on my 2nd Ls400 - i used to own a 95 then bought a 99 -now I own both a 99 LS400 & an Ls430 - just bought the ls430 2 days ago ! I get so overwhelmed with happiness when see people still talking about these cars and actually care about them as much as I do because I’m OBSESSED !!

Fun fact, I just bough a 1999 LS400 from a good friend down in Smackover, Arkansas and he told me that he switched the rear ash trays from the door panels from my car to that car and put the ones from that one in this one. Love the car. Can’t wait to see it restored, if love to have it in all honesty!

Dude, man, Tavarish, you cannot turbo this thing. This car is a legend that needs to end up in a museum someday. Turboing it and trying to break it would be such a bad thing to do I can't put it into words. Like legitimately, I don't know if because you have had hands in this car since the beginning, thus blinding you from it's importance, but it is legitimately an important piece of, if nothing else, KRplus automotive history. I'm not saying I'm going to unsubscribe if you decide to turbo it, but as I'm sure you've seen from your other subscribers, 99.9% of us want to see it restored. It's what the car deserves.

It's a million mile car that's in better shape than most cars of its age. I say definitely don't turbo it or anything crazy, the history this car has is crazy. I would love to see a full restoration and continuing that trend of lending the car out and having people log their adventures.
