You are exactly correct. The ECUs are married to the KESSY module and the car will not start with those ECUs that came with the replacement engine. And yeah the motor seems compact and you will find there is maybe 3/4" of space between the motor and chassis when you drop it out. I believe I posted this on a prior video but please get the engine out service kit from Bentley that will have all your fluids and one time use hardware for the swap. I definitely recommend to replace the starter while the engine is out. TRUST ME!

@@nickbee1291 Easy, use a tennis ball and a paperclip.
@@nickbee1291 When you do chiptuning sometimes the ECu brakes and its not a problem to put a new ECU in it. You put the key in the car and sync (learn) it with VAG Tester to the ECU you build into the car. - Works fine. So long the ECU fits to the car you can sync it with the keys. We worked a lot with Siemens, Bosch and Magneti Marelli and it worked for all of them (also in different brands).
Don't forget the manual swap on the SL 55 AMG.

Hey tavarish those swamp coolers work amazing still in Florida. I have a coffee roasting company in Tampa and used it for an entire year last summer. We just switched over to a ductless mini-split AC. I highly suggest this in the future because we only put out $3,500 for a 2000 square foot building. If you have any questions about it let me know.

Pro-tip on the evaporative cooler. It won't do anything because Florida is too humid. It literally works by putting humidity into the air, the cooling comes from the state change from liquid to gas. You need to install a unit that pulls humidity out of the air via condensation of water over a coil filled with refrigerant in an air handler. Your body uses evaporative cooling, so if you can't go outside without drowning in sweat and feeling extremely uncomfortable, you can't cool your shop with the same method. Evaporative coolers are cheap, but buying the wrong thing and using it against all advice, logic, and reasoning will only cost you more money, return it and get a commercial HVAC tech to set you up right (You can get used package HVAC units for cheap, make sure it suits your warehouse capacity though. You can calculate these requirements knowing how many cubic feet of air need to be processed by the unit.) You can save even more on energy costs by installing a high volume low speed fan, as you are in a warehouse, you have a lot of air to handle. It will help significantly, as it's hard to efficiently move air in a warehouse of that size otherwise. BigAssFans makes products that should suit your needs.

I just love the content regardless of what car it is. I feel like it's a quality video and at the very least it's good background noise for when I'm working in the garage but I try to watch as much as possible.

The KRplus Phantom Official - this is true but the cost of flying a car to the US from the UK (or vice versa) would be prohibitively expensive, not to mention how difficult it is to find an airline that will transport a car, especially over such distances

His project is also learning lesson for him and he's doing most of the work himself. I don't get why people so entitled like they funded the project and bossing around tell him to rush it.

Yeah, you have lost yourself. What if I was all jazzed about this blown Mercedes manual shift conversion? Or get all jazzed about something in your stable and you end up selling it? If you are not in over your head on your projects you are on seamless cohesive storylines on Just about everything but your new aquisition's.

My experience is that the Porta Cool will work in humidity. I go to my wife's family reunion every year in Albany Georgia in June and they rent one and set it up outdoors. It makes a huge difference.
