It gave me a headache listening to him decipher the vin number by glancing at it. the last time I tried I had a book and it still took me a good 10 minutes to figure it out after copying everything down. At the end of 10 minutes I was fairly confident enough to say that yes, it was indeed a vin number.

Ed in that Murcielago, knees around the steering wheel, reminded me of what I must have looked like trying to fit into a Fiat X1/9. I passed on trying to drive that, as if I had hit anything at more than about 5 mph, my knees would have been permanently screwed.

@@Ultimate3345 the Civic is a good inexpensive fuel efficient and reliable car which is perfect for your first. You can then save up for something nicer while having reliable efficient transportation. I'd recommend something Japanese to start like Nissan, Honda, Toyota even Mazda then when you know s little more about cars if you really want to get the scirocco then jump in. I honestly wouldn't get an old European car for my first ride.

The fit & finish is far greater than a Honda & the challenge of learning how to work on German cars is very rewarding. It will certainly expand ones tool collection. I don't understand you fanboys that stick to only one type of car; in your case Japanese & you go out of your way to bother a guy who wants to drive something different than you. I for one enjoy all cars. I find that they are all unique in there own way. Whether it is Japanese, European, or American domestic I have a passion for all cars. I have owned everything from SR20DET swapped widebody 240sx to VR6 Jettas to SAAB aero wagons. Variety is the spice of life. I feel sorry for fanboys who cannot or will not ever step out of their comfort zone and ultimately limit their life experiences. But hey, w/e floats your boat! Have fun enjoying only Japanese cars for the rest of your life, effectively limiting your knowledge and abilities to one kind of car. Just because you are a close minded fan boy doesn't mean everyone else has to be. Let the guy with the plans for a Scirocco R enjoy his dream & blaze his own trails. Not everyone has to be exactly like you, or do it your way. Let people be themselves & enjoy the journey of figuring things out. Life & let live. ✌

ive had one for a couple months now after BisforBuild had a discount code for one. yea they sound good, but battery life is like maybe 2 hours and if you walk out of bluetooth range it glitches out and you cant use it for a couple days until the battery dies. good sound horrible battery life from my experience, pretty much have to always leave plugged in.
If you want a fantastic speaker for that profile I reccomend the UE Boom

Hi Tav, I'm new-ish to your channel, having spent most of the last few weeks watching the whole of your Gallardo project at the rate of an episode per evening. I couldn't get enough of it. Love the channel, love the Murcielago, and really looking forward to the coming weeks and months.
It shouldn't be impossible to get hold of the film production company and maybe find out who worked on the car, installed the roll cage, why it says 25.1 everywhere, all that stuff. I bet there are a whole lot of stories. Any plans to hook up with some of the guys who worked on the film?
Those Bluetooth speakers are freaking awesome, I use one when I am out fishung and I've always got fellow boaties and fishermen asking about the sound system in my boat. They always get a shock when they realise it's just a portable speaker

Hey man, about the bumper... I saw once a behind the scenes clip were they said that they had to made front bumpers themselves.
Because the ice was so rough on the lake they kept destroying bumpers. So they made a mold from the original one and made bumpers themselves. Awesome project man!
