i have the same volvo 😍 my favorite car in my garage! i bought it of a dump truck and rebuilded it completely. they are so easy to work on.

That's true. And I would agree with you, but I'm a fan boy lol i just really wanna see him succeed. I do wish he'd stick to one car, or rotate the work weekly so something other than the lambos get done.

While Tavarish keeps hopping around between projects, he uses more creativity and improvisation.
He uses custom solutions for things Goon Squad would go to the dealer for.

The Volvo P-1800 is a wonderful find. I think it would be a great project car for your channel. If it has engine issues a performance engine transplant would be cool.

I'm not that "hyped" about another Lambo (jet). Finish up some projects to have the time and room for another Lambo and go for it. Also bc so many other channels are doing a similar one right now.
You could get that Caprice and put that Bentley engine in it.

The P1800 is an early one with cowhorn (jensen) bumpers. (1961-1963) and in relative terms more collectible.
At least if they did not retrofit them to a later one. Looks pretty solid though, the wheels .... not so much.
The computer related issues for this rebuild may not be as much of a headache compared what you dealt with when rebuilding the Gallardo because the vehicle is newer. Doing a full tear down with an exhaust and twin turbo setup would really make an interesting playlist....also an opportunity to discover and make some videos about those who tune these cars after modification. One of my favorite videos (that I wish was more detailed) was the video of the guy sitting in the Gallardo with the laptop doing the tuning. However, overall I thought you did fantastic series with the Gallardo playlist over the last year, you have a lot of potential to produce some great content and I can’t wait to follow along

That caprice probably needed a distributor. It’s a 5.7l lt1 v8. So the distributor was behind the water pump. Start it up and if there’s a bad miss or is running like crap, there’s a good chance it’s the optispark distributor.
Or probably the transmission
P1800... Dooo that and get moore unique and stay cool.. come on p.i.m.p that ride!! 😎🤘 Or mabye finish all the other cars in the garage at first 😏 like Amg Manual swap......

Buy the GTO! Ive seen used salvage GTOs out here in LA go for 7k-8k. Thing is that car wont loose that much of value. A clean title with 100k+ miles through a dealer are still in the $11k-$16k price range.

The Volvo has a German license plate on the front. A special plate for just a few days, mostly used when purchasing a car and moving it to the new home without the need to register it
