This is off topic, but I just want to say thank you. Ty for making a video where you encouraged people to be their own advocates when it comes to healthcare. I finally got someone to take me serious and do more testing to help figure out why I'm having chronic pain everyday. I'm now being treated for rheumatoid arthritis. I’m not sure if the cotton pads you use are disposable or not but I’ve stopped my cotton ball/pad waste with Amazon reusable cotton pads and they’re so nice! I got a bunch of pads, a little mesh bag to wash them in, metal container to store them and 2 makeup eraser towels for like $10! I just wash and dry them in the mesh bag with my white towels. Physical exfoliants are fine to be used once a week like any exfoliation, but you have to be reeeaaallllyyyy careful which ones you get! Basically, avoid anything with any sort of ground shell, pumice, or baking soda. The best for your skin is a scrub that uses jojoba esters/beads, because they’re smooth and round so they don’t create microtears. Alba Botanica’s Pineapple Enzyme Scrub is the safest I’ve seen at the drugstore!! Seriously though, avoid anything with shell powder like the plague. I needed a exfoliant because of wearing a mask.
So I picked up Olay total effects 7 in one refreshing citrus scrub. It was amazing on my skin the husband even started using it. You just need a small amount. I used Ole Henriksen but once i started wearing my mask a lot more it didn’t work for me. I had to change my whole routine. And you better believe I wrote all your recommendations on cleaning products- thank you! I also use the Dr Teals Epson salt- I love the citrus one!

again-I am SO flipping glad you're back πŸ’• as far as physical exfoliators go-my 2 top favs from the drugstore would have to be the zesty scrub from Clean & Clear and St. Ives avocado scrub. The avocado scrub is gentle enough where ai can use it everyday but the zesty scrub is a little much so I use it prolly 2-3 times and it really does brighten my skin. Hope this helps πŸ₯°

but sleeping with your hair wet is probably not the best idea.. my mom always told me sleeping with wet hair will cause headaches since you deal or used to deal with headaches/migraines
but to me it does make sense because you have the most heat loss through the head/ hair

I highly recommend the Microdelivery face wash from Philosophy, for a gentle physical exfoliant. I didn't realize how much it was doing for my skin until I quit using it for a short time, and it really does wonders. It really is brightening, I noticed difference is the visibility of my pores, and it doesn't irritate my extremely sensitive skin.
