Fifteen benefits from her older voice. It sounds wiser and it better conveys the message. An adult looking back and reflecting. Her voice has finally caught up to portray the maturity the lyrics described.

This is one of the taylors version songs that make her growth so clear to see! Her voice is so much fuller and more powerful. Theres just more weight to her voice now. Taylor is the soundtrack of my generation, I'm 3 years younger than Taylor so when her first and second albums came out, I was literally living the lyrics she was singing about her past experiences. I was literally 15 when this song came out in 2008 so its just been such a privilege and honor to experience Taylor in live-time.
